Minwax 33055000 Fast-Drying Polyurethane Aerosol, 11.5 ounce, Semi-Gloss

Bought this for clear coating our out door furniture. Have used Minwax products for years and always a good product!

Easy to use. Great results. I had to do a small area repair on a night table. It's made of a lift blonde wood and I needed to sand the top to remove some ugly staining. After sanding and cleaning the bare wood, I did a couple of light coats of this Minwax product and the results were great. It blended very well with the surrounding areas (no. I didn't refinish the entire top). It dried fast and left a nice, protective, semi-gloss finish. I love just about all Minwax wood finish products. Never got a poor result from any of their stain or finishing products.

I like to use the spray on small projects to minimize cleanup. This product works well. It sprays on nice, has the right amount of sheen, and holds up well. Cleanup us pretty easy with a little paint thinner, if you get it where it doesn't belong. I usually put what I am spraying in a box to minimize overspray.

If I were building and finishing a small piece -- a table or box -- this is a great final coat solution (applied in multiple coats with sanding between coats -- light sanding to avoid cutting through the poly). For larger pieces I would opt in favor of either brush applied or HVLP-applied (high volume, low pressure spray gun) poly by the same manufacturer. Getting a uniform coat on larger pieces would be a challenge with the spray can.

This product effectively fulfills its purpose. The spray creates a protective layer on my floor, which dries completely within 5 to 6 hours. However, I advise against walking on it until at least 24 hours have elapsed. I highly recommend this product due to its exceptional performance.
