Yet another lovely story
Another great story for a young cricket enthusiast. By now the characters are well established and we feel like part of the team.

Delightful book for young cricketers
The 'Glory Garden Cricket Club' series are delightfully written by Bob Cattell. Bought for a cricket mad 11 year old grandson - who just loves them. Thoroughly recommend this and rest in series

Ideal for young cricket fans
I bought the Glory Gardens Cricket Club set for my son. Cricket is so much better than football, but very few fictional books have been written on it. I think my son really enjoyed reading these, although he is usually more of a factual/stats reader. I bought 4 books as a set and individual books to complete the series. Unfortunately the individual books were in the older covers so didn't match, so if you are fussy like us you might want to check which covers they have with the seller first to avoid disappointment. (Second-hand books aren't always in as good condition as, for example, second-hand CDs, so if you love nice clean unmolested books look for "excellent" or "as new" condition, as "very good" might seem more like merely acceptable.)
