My wife is thrilled with this set!
Very nice Tea Cup and Saucer set, with a stirring spoon included! The picture attached shows how the tea cup "turns" the printed portion of the saucer "upwards" onto the tea cup (I purposely left just a tiny line of white between cup and saucer print to show where the printing stops and goes up the cup - of course, if you turn the cup, you lose this visual effect). The gold edging on the cup and saucer is well done, and the entire spoon is gold gilded, as well as the entire handle of the cup (lots of gold gilding!) -- so be aware, you cannot use this in a microwave to re-heat your drink. In fact, is is so pretty that my wife says she will set it aside to add to her display collection and not use it. It also has that authentic "ring" of good china - not the highest pitch ring I have ever heard from bone china, but really clear for porcelain china. Mu wife is thrilled with this set! -- says can we go higher than 5 stars?

Ruined after one use!
I'm so disappointed. I was so excited to receive this, and it's very beautiful. But after using it once, the top clear coat is coming off. The cup and saucer are turning blue. Don't waste your money on this.

Gorgeous! I Love It!
What I love most about this cup and saucer set is how beautifully and well made it is. There are certain intricacies in the feather pattern that make the design so elegant. Although the color is listed as red, there is a blending of shade that lean more towards pinks and purples. The gold trim is quite common among other teacups and sets I own but it's the gold flecks just inside the rim of the saucer that makes this a bit more exquisite. I do find leaf detail on the handle of the spoon to be whimsical and charming.
