If you are looking for a diffuser for the Elgato Key Light Air then just know that this soft box works perfectly. If you add in the grid along with the internal white panel you will likely need to turn the light up much higher than expected so be on the lookout for that. Overall highly recommended. The soft box attachment is a much needed accessory, especially when you get into capturing varieties of video content. As many already know, this brand provides quality hardware at reasonable prices. This accessory is a must, in my opinion, especially if you’re using for on location, content, creation, or even at home for live streaming, etc. The build quality is acceptable, but just be careful how much you add wear and tear to this unit, especially the Lastic Velcro that attaches the unit to the LED light.

Received my product! It was nice to put on but the one of the straps was already ripped off. It was sad that this was not fully usable at first. I had to use some duck tape and creative thinking to make it work. The box is a bit small, but it does what it needs too. I wish they would make it a little more wider in depth because the flaps on my panel still poke out into the diffuser.

Gear snobbery is not uncommon in the production community, and it's true you often get what you pay for. These relatively cheap Neewer lights aren't terrible, especially those allowing you to dial in color temperature. But they are kind of just walls of LED's without a lot of control. For the fixtures that this fits (the off-square units with barn doors), this makes the units radically more useful for very little money. I'm using one of these for a key light and it's pretty adequate for indoor situations. The honeycomb helps with the spill a great deal. The biggest variable is the diffusion, as this includes an optional "sheet," and combined with the plastic diffuser that comes with the lights, it may require extra stops to get what you're after. I suppose the issue is just the base strength of the fixture this goes on. My only criticism is that it would be ideal if there was more "give" for the diffusion and honeycomb, because they're pretty tight to get on.

Is sturdy, easy to install and works well for talking head at close proximity. Highly recommended.

Use mine for work and personal use like shooting YouTube content. Works well, portable and is super convenient. The only thing I don't like is when you get the separate softbox with honeycomb attachment, you can't tilt the light down much. So it was difficult for me to shoot products when I needed the light to shine from over the item I was filming or shooting.
