This is a great prebiotic fiber. My doctor told me to increase my fiber intake and recommended this type of fiber. Now Foods makes it in both loose powder and capsule forms. It has a slightly sweet taste so I stir the powder into my morning coffee. It dissolves completely clear with no grit or gummy remains. I use the capsule version when I travel. If you want to increase your fiber or prebiotic intake, this is a very easy way to do it. The powder comes in 2 different sizes, so you can try the smaller one and move on to the larger 1 lb. bottle when you love it.

I have always enjoyed all of Now's products, and this one is no exception. It's a great value for the price, and the quality of the Astaxanthin in these tablets is equally if not better than some of the competitors to cost more money. I've purchased a few other brands before, and I will likely stay with this one. I wouldn't want them any stronger , And I only take one every day. That's all I need. I would not want to do much more because they do have a laxative effect which can be a bit uncomfortable if you're not careful. The tablets are small enough for you to swallow comfortably and not feel like you're choking. Astaxanthin always makes my skin feel softer, and at age 67 I still have zero wrinkles on my skin! People complement my skin and tell me I don't look my age, and I attribute this partially to using supplements like this one. Well worth the money.

One of the good supplements out there

My partner and I have been buying this creatine powder for a couple of years now, and we are happy with it. We add it to smoothies, and when we put it in other drinks, like sports water or what have you, it has dissolved really well with good shaking. No discernible flavor, which is a plus, and it mixes right into smoothies; though it's a bit grainy in water, this isn't really an issue for me. Lastly, it's going to sound weird, but i swear you can tell that creatine does something in your brain. I know! I know, it sounds like a good case of placebo effect, but there you have it.

Astaxanthin has made a huge difference in my skin, has helped with joint pain and is starting to help with my eyes. I have dry eyes and my eyes tend to water a lot, I've noticed that after 6 weeks of use of astaxanthin my eyes are watering less and don't seem to fatigue as easily. I'm hoping that as time goes on, the effectiveness on eye strain and dry eyes increases. My joint pain has significantly decreased over the past 6 weeks as well. But the benefits of my skin are the most noticeable so far. After taking 24mg daily for 4 weeks, my daughter commented that my skin is glowing. She didn't know that I had started using astaxanthin. At 6 weeks in I was just told that my skin looks radiant. I'm definitely already noticing changes in firmness/sagging and fine lines disappearing. I have not yet noticed a "tan" look, but again I've only been taking this for about 6 weeks now and I know the pigment takes time to build in your skin. Overall I am very happy with this supplement and will continue to take daily, along with my other supplements.
