I ordered this for the extra length of the handle and the mention of "heavy duty". So far, both seem to be apt descriptions. It is lightweight, even when all the handle lengths are added. The handle sections screw together tightly, and the handle in it's longest configuration doesn't flex or come apart. An observation, not a complaint: As denoted as "sturdy", the tines are pretty rigid, not flimsy-flexible like most leaf rakes, and are also longer after the end-bend. So leaves clump on the tines pretty good and require clearing by hand more often (being hollow, I don't really want to bang the handle against the lip of a municipal lawn can, it could possibly crease it). But again, this in not a criticism, and the rake is far more useful for me, even with this slight additional handling. The construction of the tool itself seems to be excellent. The finish seems to be anti-rust also, so with prudent use, it should last a long time. I would classify this as an addition to the regular wood-handled leaf rake that I already own, not a replacement. I'm impressed, and I'm glad I bought it. Update: My wife likes it so much, since we usually yard-work together, we bought a 2nd one. Update #2: Apparently, the same rake for less (and more reviews) here on Amazon .

Awesome product Easy to assemble

The rake head is small, so measure it out to see if it's enough to handle your tasks. Other wise strong tangs and shaft. Perfect if you're RVing and want something small and lightweight. The hand breaks down into about 18" pieces for easy storage.

I love this rake. Good and sturdy but not heavy. Easy to assemble and can customize your length.

This rake is very sturdy and handle breaks down to a compact size. We needed a metal rake to clean a beach volleyball court of rocks and driftwood for a beach volleyball tournament. What was even better is the rake handle is in sections! makes it more compact for packing away in the car,

I accomplished the job I needed to do, but wit a lot of effort. The paddles are too wide for anything but a 6” gutter (most are 5”). Springs continue to torque so use it very awkward. If you’re persistent this will work and save climbing a ladder or hiring someone

Works well for those small places. Very durable. Happy with my purchase.
