Really good value and so far so good. Strong, quiet and 100% reliable arrived in good time and although no english instructions were in the box, a quick message to customer service and before I could say "That was easy" an instruction manual in English appeared in my inbox.

Excellent quiet motor + value for money. Had to adapt motor fixing to fit existing mounting in motorhome. Original motor replacement was £150! Instructions are in German so used translation app. Note that Instructions are confusing & limit switch control only works when motor is in blind.

I ordered the SW40 / 23 kg model. The motor fitted the 40mm roller shutter perfectly. It was easy to install. It came without the promised English instructions but the Sol Royal emailed me a pdf once requested. I then completed the setup without any problems. The motor is quiet and runs smoothly. I'm impressed. In fact, I've just ordered 6 more.

It works well a good replacement

Used as replacement for garage door motor, easy to fit if you have some DIY skills. The mounting wasn't the same as the old unit so needed some new holes in the bracket. Setting the end points was guesswork without (English) instructions but trial and error got it done. Now working smoothly again. Very happy with the repair at a tiny fraction of the cost of a new door.

Worked only in one direction (brown wire) not reverse (black wire), disappointing

I got two. I was quiet and worked well the other was noisy in one direction. Took me a few weeks to get around to fitting and now Amazon will not allow me to return. So my advise would be consider other brands and check goods early as Amazon dose not comply with UK law and allow returns for more than a few weeks.
