I did a lot of research into which to make and curry powders were the most authentic and after doing loads of research into which curry powder was the best the most authentic and the tastiest for authentic Caribbean and Jamaican curries this one came up at tops I am so glad that I bought this curry powder it is absolutely beautiful it tastes really authentic homemade Jamaican curry and I'm so glad that I got this brand my partner also loves the taste of this I usually use it with lots of garlic loads of onions to make up the sauce sometimes oxtail and sometimes chunks of shin beef or pork not much else goes into it so it's really easy to use I will be buying this product again I highly recommend it and we've all research this brand is the most authentic for Jamaican and Caribbean food

I love a good curry powder for Jollof rice and Nigerian stew and this one meets my needs to so much. Tried this brand to see if it taste anything line Nigerian one. I must say taste so alike and I loved it. Will definitely be sticking to this brand. total smells and taste amazing. recommended.

I have been using Chief Brand for the better part of 20 years after my first bottle of roasted Geera. I was almost out of my Jamaican Cool Runnings curry powder and thought I would try Trinidad curry as Chiefs roasted Geera was such an incredible quality. Turns out Chiefs curry powder is also top notch just like their Roasted Geera. Looking forward to eggs, fish, goat, and many other flavourful dishes!!

Love the authentic flavour and maintainance of quality through the years but costly to use on a daily basis.

Growing up, my mother used a different brand of curry powder. I couldn’t get my hands on that one but to my surprise, Amazon was selling Chief curry powder, a brand I’m familiar with. I’m so happy I made this purchase. The flavor was so good, even my mother who tasted my curry, said she would switch! Lol. I honestly think this is the best curry powder for Caribbean curries. Love it

A recipe for a dish from Trinidad-Style Aloo and Channa was in the food section of the Washington Post recently. It called for Chief Curry Powder. I'm so glad I ordered it. The dish is delicious. This curry powder has a wonderful flavor and is not overly spicy. I will be using it in other dishes that require curry powder as well.

I use this product for making all kinds of curried dishes including chicken, beef, shrimp and a rice curry that is a favourite at potluck lunches and dinners. It is not very spicy so can be enjoyed by most people.

I haven't been to Tinidad or Tobago, however, I do appreciate somewhat this curry. It has a good earthy, robust smell to it. Maybe pairs well with a white rice and mayonnaise if you're short on meat. Yes, I said mayo, mix the curry in a little mayo and try with rice, its a good secret I learned from an old greeky safari mentor. Another good one is waterchestnuts and bacon, baked. Anyway back to the curry. Its a decent blend I would just use as a table-curry. However, if you're gonna get all refined about it, there are japanese curries and a wide variety of others to create those subtle difference you so long for. I would recommend this curry.
