If I could give this more than 5 Stars I would!! I’m not big on writing reviews but this tape deserves. Glowing review! I had surgery for a broken ankle 9 weeks ago. The two scars I have on each side of my ankle looked awful. I have10 screws, a plate and bar keeping me together. The scars looked nasty would itch. The warmer weather is here and I wanted something to get the scar to look better but also keep them covered. THIS TAPE IS AMAZING!! The actual appearance of my scars have shrunk and when wearing the tape it actually blends into my skin pretty well!! Huge improvement on the scars, I shower and go in the pool with them, I got to PT where they torture me and rub lotions and gels on my ankles and this doesn’t come off. Removal is pain free! I wear them for 48 hours and then let my skin air out for about 18 hours then put new strips on!! Easy to use and I feel confident going out in skirts when not wearing my colorful compression sock! I wish it would make the swelling go down lol but that will happen in time!

Sticks so well and is a great barrier to keep scar gel/cream from rubbing off or drying out in the day or over night. I can keep one on for 3 days without it falling off but I like to change them every 2 days ideally. Does not heal or lessen scars by itself, but works with scar creams together to make that happen by trapping in the ingredients and moisture. Very lightweight and malleable material that doesn't move or slide with activity (like arms or legs).

Love that the tape is already perforated for you so you can use one big piece or easily tear to smaller sizes if needed. Used for my c section scar and it really helped with the swelling and redness of my scar. Great product!

I’ve been using this silicone tape on my face for fine lines, and I’m impressed! It’s gentle on the skin, sticks well without irritation, and feels comfortable even after hours of wear. I noticed my skin looks smoother and the lines are less visible after consistent use. The roll also lasts a long time since you can cut it to size. Definitely worth trying if you want something effective and non-irritating for scars or fine lines!

I heard so much about this tape from dermatologists online, so I wanted to see if it would work on old and new scars. I have melanated and sensitive skin, and traditional band-aids cause further damage. I wanted to see if it would treat old scars as well as prevent marks forming from new scars. After two weeks, I can say that this silicone scar tape does heal old scars very well. Moreover, you can cut the tape to your desired shape and length. However, the downside is that you have to finesse the tape off the hard plastic lining and ensure it stays put, so wherever you have a cut, don't apply lotion or oils, or the tape will be on your blanket or pillowcase. I tried to clean and reapply the tape, but the tape lost it's stickiness, so consider this a one-time use tape. Thought it does a great job with old scars, it doesn't do a great job with new scars. In fact, I had a recent scar darken in color due to the tape, yet another scar heal without any discoloration. So if you have melanated skin, understand that there is a 50/50 chance of your scars appearing darker. I will say that the upside for me is that the scar tape did slightly match my skintone, so I could wear it outside if needed. Overall, the tape is kind to my sensitive skin and covers scars, but is iffy on the healing aspect, since the product does not prevent discoloration. I'm going to use up the package. Hopefully, things change.
