Petkin Petkin Sunscreen Stick

This is a great item for any dog who loves the sun. I have used it on my dog's nose as this seems to be the bit of her that always catches the sun the most. It didn't cause any irritation and she did not mind having it applied. Rather than rub the stick directly onto her nose I popped a bit onto my finger and then rubbed her nose. It did exactly what it said it would and when she came in from outside there was no sign of any sunburn. Very pleased and would highly recommend. A lovely little item to pop in your bag when out and about with your dog, This should be part of every dog owners 'grooming/medicine' cupboard.

Arrived today Opened it straight away as it’s a hot sunny ☀️ Day decided worth trying it straight Pros : Was really easy to put on my dog A thick cream I used a treat to lure her and then just rubbed it on her nose straight away It smells absolutely gorgeous of vanilla and coconut 🥥 Glad it’s thick as my springer spaniel instantly was trying to lick it off her nose Cons- Disappointed that it’s not a bigger tube It’s a bit like a tiny face paint tube that you get for different Football teams Frustrated that it says it doesn’t prevent cancer on it Was expecting it to be a sunblock and preventative like human suncream is Don’t really get a lot for your money probably will look for a cheaper alternative

Great little product for dogs. We have a white whippet dog who catches the sun in his head very easy & can't find a hat the fits properly, so this item is great!

Pros, very easy to use on nose and inside erect ears. Cons. Product is tiny and much smaller than your average roll on deodorant. Poor value for money.

When you first receive this it’s tiny but like a lipstick it goes a long way i actually found putting some on my fingers then my dogs ears worked better than trying to roll it on , it smells of coconut candy gives good coverage as I have a black hairless dog so you can see it goes on , she also never licked it off , really good product to have if your worried about ears or have a hairless dog

I bought this for my cat, as his ears are white tipped and he loves the sun. Very easy to apply as it’s a stick; I hold his ear wide enough to fit my thumb and just rub it on. He has a pink nose so I just put some on my finger and pop it on. Works well. Only downside is it does get furry (obviously!) but comes off easily with a paper towel.

Hard to really tell if this is working on a dog but I have no real reason to doubt it.my dog loves sunbathing when given the chance so this was really a must have product.easy to apply and not too sticky and after the initial inquisitive first lick my dog seems quite happy to have it on and seemed comfortable with it

Good size pack to slip in poo-bag / treats bag. Soft stick, applies easily, was well accepted and has a gentle scent. Seems to give good protection, looks white on a pink nose. Happy with this.

Our dog seems to enjoy having this cream applied to the top of her nose. It has no scent and she doesn’t try to lick it off. It does a good job of preventing sunburn

I really like this dog sunscreen, it's easy to apply and lasts well, if in an area they can't lick off.

This works like a charm. My dog is prone to getting her nose and ears sunburned. This product allows for a safe and easy way to apply sunscreen to these areas without too much fuss from her. She loves the smell and the way it feels as it seems to moisturize these areas as well. She's happy so I'm happy :)

That fine print that’s in Japanese in the listing (from the back of the box), is in English when you get it: “This product has been shown only to prevent sunburn, NOT SKIN CANCER or early skin aging.” Skin cancer protection is the main reason to put sunscreen on, so if it’s not going to protect against that, it’s useless. Also: very small amount of product for the price.
