Just what I wanted! The padlock is secure and safe! Heavy duty and with stands all weather conditions! In addition the Keys are great quality (do not bend). When opening packaging snip the keys first...then unlock the padlock to remove from packaging. The padlock is secure in its own packaging and quite difficult to remove if this process is not followed! Perfect for my Keter store it out shed in the back garden! Will defo purchase another if needed in the future.

For £9.99 I cannot believe the quality of this padlock. It's been purchased for shed/man cave as the other locks I've used rusted quickly even though I'd covered them with a modified old plastic bottle. Judging by reviews this should hopefully last much longer.

This is a nice sturdy looking lock, with a chunky shackle. It has a hinged rubber flap at the bottom covering the combination, which I guess is designed to help protect the mechanism. I've had it for a few months now on the side gate, and it has been good, but I do need to see how it performs during the winter/over a longer term. I like how when you set the correct combination, you still have to squeeze the top of the lock to open it. So anyone trying to guess the numbers would have a very hard time. Having a key hole on the side, as well as the combination feels a bit odd to me. I only wanted the combination really. Not sure if the keyhole is just another place where the weather will get in, and corrode the insides? The movement of the numbers is a bit hard sometimes, I think other locks I've had have had bigger/more free moving dials. The rubber flap fell off last week (but I tucked it back in and it appears to be OK).

I liked it immediately. It is a heavy, sturdy padlock that is perfect for locking a gate that leads from the road to a field on our property. There had been evidence of trespass so I needed a solid, weatherproof padlock with a set of keys to control entry and the Master Lock had favourable reviews and was sensibly priced. I took note of a few comments referring to surface corrosion appearing after some time so, as I live in a coastal area, I smothered the padlock with grease both internally and externally to provide a measure of extra protection. So far so good but only time will tell whether or not the product is durable. Currently, there is not the slightest hint of rust or corrosion and the key easily opens the lock. If, after time, I find the padlock does not satisfy my requirements I will revise my review but, at the moment, it’s getting five stars from me. PLEASE NOTE: This review is for the key operated padlock NOT the combination padlock that seems to get most of the negative reviews. Read the reviews to compare like with like.

Strong lock, easy to set combination

This is the 3rd one of these we have bought. The first one was purchased last year for our holiday place near the Sea, and we seemed to be going through padlocks very quickly due to the salt air, but this one has proven to be very sturdy, no rust, and hasn't gone stiff. Hence we have bought a further two for our sheds at home. Arrived quickly, and felt they are fairly priced for the quality.'

Robust. Does an excellent job.

I have always bought this brand of padlocks and never been disappointed. Expect a trouble free long lasting padlock that’s resistant to rust if kept well oiled.
