I tried several other brands, and they do not match this cheaper, yet much more effective cup holder insert. The other brands I tried had very large bumps inside the cups, which made it very difficult to insert soda cans. The soda cans would warp and bend rather than go down. This brand has smaller bumps at the bottom which snugly hold cans and plastic bottles, so much easier to use. I found that you need to push the insert down firmly so that the top rim fits flush with the car cup holder, or it will kinda float above. Once pushed down, it fits perfectly. Some company needs to make an insert for these Tesla Y & 3 models that have no bumps inside the cups. All I wanted was a silicone insert to make it easier to clean, as the snugness is not that big of a problem. Without the inserts cups/cans/bottles ride fine, just a little looser. This brand is a good compromise, as it holds the cups/cans/bottles snugly but not crushes them. However, other brand cup holder inserts are way too worried about holding the can/cup/bottle way more firm than needed, and create an even bigger problem by warping the items being held

This makes a huge improvement to the cup holders in my model 3. It drove me insane how it seemed no matter what size cup i put in there before they would just flop around, this fixed that. (maybe if you had a 44oz fountain drink the standard cup holders work ok but I never get those) It has little bulges that help grip most cans/bottles well, the only exception I've found is the skinny style 12oz red bulls will still have a tendency to tip a bit but much better than stock. I also have a Yeti insulated sleeve for a 16 oz can that can fit in this, you have to push it in stiffly and it only grips maybe the bottom 1/2-1" of the sleeve but its in there solid and not coming out. It also fits super snug which is great as if you were to spill anything it's not going to flood your cup holders from the outside.
