Must-have upgrade for the HBX 1:18 trucks
This was the first upgrade I did to my HBX 18859, and it made a massive improvement in stability and handling over the original friction shocks. No longer does it bounce when running on gravel or dirt, and landings are much more controlled when jumping. Overall, a must have upgrade for any basher 1:18 truck or truggy.

1:18 scale Shocks really work well.
I'm surprised these shots really work the truck does not bounce at high speeds anymore they really work I will buy them again and again and again.

Must have upgrade for Haiboxing 18859E
These are the only upgrade I've done to my Haiboxing 18859E. The original equipment shocks are not great and caused some pretty violent landings over jumps and unstable handling on uneven terrain. These oil filled shocks make a HUGE difference with the handling and smooth landing over jumps. The original equipment oil leaked oil out of the seals after some pretty aggressive bashing. I refilled them with the proper oil, which is regular maintenance anyway. These made a significant difference in the overall performance of my skatepark basher. They were easy to install, look great, and perform well.

Good product, good price
Great upgrade part from Haiboxing! Purchased for my 15889 and what a difference! I can jump it off curbs from here to Timbuktu and never worry about slapping the chassis, also the firm ride helps keep the wheels planted for some fun drifties!! Also love the threaded collars that let you dial the ride height and stiffness to a T. Great stuff!

Much needed upgrade for 18859
Highly recommend for the price. Were a direct fit to the 18859. Two shocks were a bit stiffer (oil wise) out the box but can be easily fixed with replacing oil and bleeding shocks. Can't express how much better the handling is over the stock friction shocks.

these oil shocks are a must and a total game changer, just make sure the caps are tight. they look awesome and protect the vehicle in landing from jumps.. the original friction shocks on the 1:18 hbx are basically obnoxious squeaky fake shocks with very weak springs.. these are perfect in the front on the softest setting and need just a little firming up in the rear.
