Great essential for the Dremel, I've used these to cut plastic conduit tidily & cut fibre glass car parts and to cut vents in a steel bike shed. Cutting 2x 150mm holes with some fettling aswell in a steel bike shed did kill off one of the blades, mid job but these things do it all. Good value for an on-brand product, cut very well and with the ez click system feels so much safer than the old blade mount.

The wheels are thin but very strong and slices through sheet metal, nails, and small bolts cleanly with minimal effort. They do the job! If I had bigger jobs to do, I'd use a full-size angle-grinder but for hobby jobs, they are ideal. I have to say never use cheap knock-offs. I tried one before and it shattered almost immediately. This genuine Dremel feels solid and durable, and the EZ SpeedClic system makes swapping discs fast and easy without any extra tools. Only small thing is it wears down faster if you push too hard, but that is expected with any cutting wheel. Overall this is well worth buying if you do any metal cutting with a Dremel.

Not used yet but expect them to be ok. The last lot were fine.

Brilliant disc. I've cut through really tough metal with them and they have helped me many times, the last time being a caliper pin on my motorbike which was seized and had to be cut but also a steering rod that was seized on my car and needed to be cut too.

These are actually great, good value for money, have bought them several times and will continue to do so. (But as per below - using them in strict caution near pets) However: IF YOU HAVE A PET BIRD PLEASE READ I know there are obvious airborne toxins that most bird-owners will know. I do a lot of DIY but for anything eg paint fumes the birds go on holiday to a friend/relative for a week. Was cutting down a metal grid wire memo board with these cutting discs. Birds two rooms away, doors between me and birds were all closed, and I had the kitchen door open on to the yard and all the windows open. Then left the kitchen door closed for hours after. Also immediately deep cleaned the kitchen where is I’d been doing the two-minute job with the dremel. The birds died about 2-3 hours later. I’m in no way bad-mouthing this product but these discs are coated in fibreglass. So either trace amounts of fibreglass, or possibly just hot airborne metal fumes - in what could only have been minuscule amounts, rooms away, with multiple precautions taken, proved fatal to the birds. I think dremel are an awesome brand and will continue to buy their stuff year on year. Just thought this was worth mentioning as it hadn’t occurred to me that even trace amounts of airborne particles kicked up by these blades would prove so suddenly and dramatically fatal to birds. Just thought I’d mention this as it can be hard to get guidance on things that aren’t okay for pet birds and thought this was worth sharing. But these blades are great, good value for money, but I do find they wear out quite fast dependent on the job you’re using them on.
