One of the easiest cooking methods of all time with amazing results
Works great and easy to use. I really like the metal grill and indents in the container. The idea is to hold objects completely submerged. This does a much better job than all of the other methods I've used before. The container is big enough for several steaks or pot roasts and with the neoprene sleeve and I haven't had to refill water even when doing more than 24 hours. It's easy to clean and if using factory sealed bags, it's just water to rinse out after use. I like to use with factory sealed meats, not the kind with styrofoam. You can go straight from freezer or fridge right into the water filled box, put the metal grate across the top, set your time and temp, and go. I do use freezer ziplocks too, but these leak sometimes or you leave the top portion above the water line (but are harder then to keep submerged). I use at 139 degrees for 24 hours on a pot roast you can then cut with a spoon.

Great product
This container worked well with the Wancle sous vide circulator. I also like the fact that it came with a metal rack to keep your food fully submerged during the cook. The silicone lid was also a nice feature that help kept the temperature at optimal level.

Too big for efficient use in small household
This is great for cooking large pieces of meat or multiple steaks (for instance). I just started cooking sous vide, and mostly cook for one or two, so it is too much for me, day-to-day. I found that a smallish food safe bucket with a lid (got a lid that fits around the sous vide on Amazon) is more efficient. This may end up only being used at holiday meals in my household... That said, the rack has two positions and is perfect for keeping items submerged.

Works as described and more.
I used this a few times for sous vide, but it's mostly used for marinating meat. It large enough for a small turkey. I even used it to put my power station in when it rained, I just made sure to cover the hole.

Perfect size.
Nice smaller size container for sous vide. I can comfortably fit 4-5 chicken breast. The wire hold down rack is a nice touch and works. This container is easier to move around and lift out of the sink when full compared to my 16qt. container.

So much better than a stock pot.
Love this sous vide tank. Much easier to setup and use than a stock pot. Having the neoprene sleeve is a big help to so I don’t worry about the heat damaging anything it’s sitting on. The sleeve plus the lid retain much more heat and moisture so don’t need to top off the water level midway through cooking.
