Works Like Magic — If You Know These Tricks First!
This product can be a miracle worker — with a few important precautions. I’ve used several products from this company for three different projects ( saving me thousands of dollars), and here’s what I’ve learned: 1) The repair paint acts like a flexible vinyl paint. It does an amazing job covering color, texture, and small tears. You may need to blend colors to get an exact match, so always test in a hidden area first. In fact, you might want to practice the whole process on a small hidden area, like under the seat, to get used to the product. ******Important: Not all bottles are the same shade, even if labeled the same color! I bought a small “cream” bottle and later a large one — completely different shades. Luckily, I had one of those sets of 3 and mixed a few drops of a darker shade to get a perfect match. Note that when the paint dries, it will appear different, so wait until it's dry to determine if it works. In addition, you’ll need more paint than you expect. Still, once mixed, it worked wonders — it covered a large damaged leather spot from cat vomit that had nearly eaten through. After several coats, I could not tell it was damaged; noting, my chair is "pull wax" leather (created to show off a natural leather's aging and patina over the years), so the matching chair had very slightly more color dispersity in the seat. Using the buffing balm on the undamaged chair made them indistinguishable. 2) Use the Furniture Clinic Leather Flexifil sparingly. It’s great for sealing large tears, but it can leave a visible smear texture if you spread too wide. It says it can be sanded, but keep in mind you’ll be sanding the leather too, which can leave uneven spots. It fixed a big tear beautifully, but didn’t help much with tiny claw punctures. 3) Expect to apply multiple coats of paint to cover the Flexifil texture completely. But if you're just covering a small stain, you can get away with covering the small area completely, then using a "dappling" or "light sponging" technique to blend the paint into the undamaged area. You might want to try this first to see if you really need to cover the whole surface. 4) Be patient between coats. Let each layer dry fully before reapplying. If you brush over a section that’s started drying, it’ll pill or lift. I would avoid using a heat source to dry, this is not wall paint- it's like a liquid vinyl and might warp, chip or peel in time when high heat is used. Cover your tools with plastic wrap to avoid them drying out. 5) If you end up with a mistake or just want to start over, you can use a slightly abrasive dish sponge with water to remove the paint until it dries completely. I would wait until the leather is fully dry before reapplying. Once you get the hang of it, this combo can make your leather look brand new again. It saved my couch and a chair — but patience, prep, and color testing are everything!

Great bonding coverage
This stuff is exceptional. I’ve ordered others, which simply wore off & has poor coverage. Kudos to the quality on coverage and bonding material. Will order again. Tan covered worn areas perfectly.

Easy to use, affordable, results are amazing
I had a leather couch that was unfortunately very scratched by my two cats. Usually cats don't like to scratch leather but I had a fabric couch cover that they liked to scratch and their nails made it through the cover onto the couch. Decided to buy this and I was amazed by the results. The bottle is rather small but a little goes a long way. I just used a paper towel and dabbed/rubbed the product into the imperfections of the couch. I did this two times. The couch looks brand new, if not, better!! It dried in a couple hours but I left it alone for a day to make sure. No residue left over!! I am only taking off one star because a few months later I'm starting to see some of the scratches again. I did two coats. I would still recommend this product because its cheap, a little goes a long way, it's super easy to use, there's no residue or transfer onto your clothes, and it makes your couch look amazing. I would not mind having to apply it every now and then, it's better than throwing away my couch.

Applauds
My couch was headed to the nearest dumpster.. Furniture Clinic Leather Repair paint worked so well, it made it look as brand new as the day I first bought it. Product was an excellent color match and the application was easy as 1 2 3 using a regular sponge. Before you toss out that old leather furniture try this hidden gem. 10/10 I’m beyond satisfied. Money and time was saved for me. I definitely didn’t want to shop for new furniture in these uncertain times. Beyond Pleased!!! Photos include before pic of peeling, wet after paint touch up and dry.

Shop around ………
I would opt for any of the other options out there to tackle this project. Just finished up the bottle and am unsure I even see any difference after 2 -3 hours of my time and 13$ later. Maybe it’s just the size of the bottle ? I’ve completed this task previously with a different color with brown and a different manufacturer and it was flawless and it was easy and it just happened to have a lot left over. Maybe it’s just me !? Regardless I’m purchasing a different brand and I’m gonna do this over again. Hopefully it’ll work this time..

A bit thin, not a color match for me
surprised the color didnt work for me. Looked perfect on a white towel but way too light on the chair. Im going to mix it w some craft paint to get the correct shade then seal it in with a wax or something as i only needed to fix a small spot of missing color on the armrest. The product seems like it would be fine, if not a little thin. Might take a few thin coats for your application.

Perfect for fixing pet scratches and scuffs
This repair paint is a highly effective all-in-one solution for refreshing leather. It dries quickly and remains flexible, so it doesn't crack even on high-use seating areas. It is particularly useful for hiding scratches and scuffs while leaving a durable, professional finish.

great paint, but only covered half of my horse. gotta order another bottle to finish the other side. Ill give 9 stars when they list square footage coverage in desciption of bottle. Tastes great too! good on tacos! hold up! ok i ordered this same bottle and it showed up in "fun" size. like not even half the size of the last bottle for the same price. Ugh id say king george is pushing his luck again. im gonna dump this in the bay.
