Because your 500A won’t accept a Streamlight TL Racker
This is the next best thing. You can still mount a Streamlight flashlight. Fits perfectly. Solid. High quality. The sling mount is also high quality, but will clank around unless a sling has strong tension applied. The potential noise may present problems if you’re needing to quietly clear your house. I’m sure most sling mounts would exhibit this same characteristic, so just beware.

Solid product
Debated this item for a while out of fear of it being cheap. But the product is well built and I feel confident in its durability. Slight issue with fitting to my Mossberg 590 but just added some extra padding so it was secure

This item works great on my Mossberg 590 shotgun. Good quality.

It moves..
I like the product as far as the way it looks, but after shooting 20 or 30 rounds it moves down the barrel I used shrink wrap before I installed it. It was more like a harder vinyl shrink wrap ..based on another review that I read where the fella said that it Scratched his barrel .. The product works, but needs improving.
