Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition - Nintendo 3DS

This is our third copy of the game— Our three older kids are 8, 6, and 5 and they each have a 3DS. My oldest got one first, then the other older two got one to share. Eventually all three wanted to play Minecraft at the same time and together— awesome feature being able to play together on different handheld systems, so we bought a third one. It sucks this can’t be played on the older 3DS because a kid I babysit has an older one but has the game that he can’t play :( But other than that... we dig this game! My kids are little gamers :)

I’m sure this is great and all but it doesn’t work for certain DS so make sure you check before you buy

Grandpa wanted to buy his Grandson a nice gift for his 9th birthday. I didn't want to skimp so I bought him the new "Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition - Nintendo 3DS" for $53 rather than the "Renewed" or refurbished version at $43. We had a big 9th birthday party and I gave him the Minecraft 3DS game I purchased through Amazon for his Nintendo 3DS gaming device. What a disappointment when this game wouldn't work in his older 3DS gaming device! Then I saw on the packaging where there was a red arrow with "Only For" pointed at "New" on the packaging of the game title. This is very misleading and I thought I was just buying a "New" game rather than a "Renewed" one. Instead this game is only for a "New" Nintendo 3DS gaming device and not one which is a little older. Too bad this ruined my birthday present to my grandson and buyers beware! To add insult to injury Amazon charged me $1.00 to return this item when I was the one who had to drive it to the UPS store to return. A very disappointing customer experience.

so cool. it is a fun game and the controls are easy to use. so much fun gaurenteed.

I bought this game for my grandson. He requested it and he is playing it a lot. He just loves it. He is 12.

The basic Minecraft game. Only works for the Nintendo 3DS XL. Since the Nintendo 3DS eShop closed you can't get the DLV updates released for it. It takes a bit of time to get accustomed to the controls because the game is designed for two joysticks not just one. The grey stub like control on the right side of the 3DS XL works as the other side joystick. You're limited to the in game skins too. Again due to the eShop having been closed by Nintendo a while back additional skins can't be added. Other than these issues the game itself works well. It has no additional updates beyond its release date for the same reason of Nintendo closing the eShop. DLC updates can't be downloaded anymore.

My daughter is a minecraft maniac! It's on every device she's owned and FINALLY ds. She is thrilled with this game and purchased a new 2dsxl with her Christmas money to play it on. Fyi, it's only compatible with new 3dxl and 2dxl.

Have an older Nintendo 3DS model this game did not work in it.

I’m sure the game is great, however my daughter can not play this on her system. I wasn’t aware the “new Nintendo 3DS” games are only for the 3DS XL systems.

Llego en excelente estado, muy buen juego es una gran versión de este juego para la New 3ds, tal vez un poco caro pero totalmente vale la pena

Para ser sincero, no esperaba mucho más allá de un Port cualquiera pero ah diferencia de otras versiones en consolas como la de PS4 o XBOX One la versión de 3ds tiene su propia escensia y su toque especial como la abrir el inventario con la pantalla Touch eso sin contar el pack de texturas de Mario Bros y los Skins lo único negativo que le veo es que no tiene modo online ah, eso sin contar que es de los pocos juegos de 3ds (Junto con Smash Bros) que tiene logros un buen agregado por parte de miscrosoft pero dejando eso de lado, ¿Vale la pena? pues yo diría que sí, en lo absoluto.
