Old world Christmas ornaments are the best. Beautiful quality. I buy one every Xmas for a good friend of mine, and she looks toward to getting it every year. The 3 baby birds perched together are adorable!

Bright red, glittery cardinal ornament which was carefully wrapped and much nicer in person. It has a nice descriptive tag attached to it. It is delicate so handle carefully. Love it!

The ornaments are absolutely incredible. Always. The most beautiful ones. But if you are hunting the after-Christmas sale here on Amazon, realize that these MIGHT be the returns from before Christmas. I have ordered quite a few these past years and they always came carefully wrapped and in individual boxes with the brand name, ornament name... These past 2 weeks I noticed prices down on some of my wishes and ordered some like presents for next Christmas. Everyone always admires these on our tree. As they trickle in being delivered, I noticed a trend. Wrong ornaments sent... Some I kept as I liked them for the price, some I am returning. Today, I finally received a beautiful red cardinal, just as I had ordered. It is in perfect condition but... No box. It was put in a bigger box bottom, not covered with a box top, wrapped in some bubble wrap. While it is a beautiful ornament, I will have to find it a box to gift and store it in. I am keeping the ornament, giving a 5-star review but if you are shopping the sales, be aware that this might happen. I would expect that a "new" item would include the original box.

Every year I buy a new ornament to reflect on the year. This was perfect, since my husband chose to build a personal "bird rest stop" under our patio roof.... When the Old World Sparrow ornament arrived, I feared it would be broken. But it was well wrapped within it's box! That aside, the product is charming- made of all glass, painted well, and definitely has some glitter, though it is not so much that it looks gawdy aside my other (non-glittery) ornaments on the tree. I believe the size to be perfect! It is large enough to see on the tree, and small enough that it does not weigh down the branch. I am very pleased with this purchase. I have bought a couple other Old World ornaments over the years, and so far they have been wonderful additions to our holiday tree. The price was a little high for one piece, but it is exactly what I was shopping for, so worth it in the end.

Beautiful ornament that looks lovely on my tree. It lost a star because it arrived without the box which was not stated in the product description. We store the Old World Christmas ornaments - and we have a great many - wrapped in their boxes for safety's sake, so this was a major disappointment. Not sure why Old World Ornament would send any ornament without its box, particularly glass ornaments that are prone to breakage. They should never do that.

This was the most awesome Christmas ornament for me in 2020. Our mother passed away in July 2020, bluebirds were her favorite. Her favorite song was of a bluebird and a phrase she frequently said was "a little birdie told me". I ordered 2 of these ornaments and gave one to my sister and one to my brother as a remembrance of her. My sister will be keeping her bluebird on display all the time in a cabinet that belonged to our mother. A new year and promising hopes that it is going to be better, I soon hope to deliver my gift to my brother.

This ornament is even more beautiful in person. Very happy with this purchase.

I love old world Christmas ornaments. I got this for my partner for Christmas because his Papa who recently passed away loved chickadees. Needless to say, my partner teared up. These ornaments are so beautiful, love the details on them. They are super delicate though because they are glass so handle with care.
