Dymatize Elite Gourmet Swiss Chocolate, 5 Pound

I have lap band and depend on quality products for my proteins. I've been using another (BF) until I discovered label was not matching up with what my scan app was telling me, then I got some run around from the company about their contradicting label and information. I just recently found out there is a class action lawsuit against them for misinformation! An independent site recommended this protein, Dymatize Elite. They have been around a long time and have been true to their information and quality products. I was very happy to see it comes in five pound tub as well since I am purchasing this often. I drink 3 to 4 shakes a day (I use my shaker bottle and skim milk). I love to see the variety that they offer. It tastes great I will be a loyal customer from now on ♡

I tried many types of whey protein, actually just ON, Boody Fortress and the CVS brands, and this by far tastes THE BEST. I just add water, nothing else, and it tastes like a milkshake and has the right mouthfeel. I dont mind it being a mix of whey and casein and what not, because I take it at night before going to bed (a slow absorption protein is just as good, or even the best in that scenario).So I take 1 serving of this, with 2 servings of another pure why protein product post exercise, and I take 2 more of this before bed, and that is how I went from squatting not even 90 pounds to squatting 225 pounds in 3 months.

I like using a protein blend of fast and slow-digesting proteins to support my heavy workouts. This has a blend I like, although I wish they would give a percentage breakdown of the specific proteins. That's a common problem in this industry as I'm sure it's more heavily weighted towards the cheaper whey concentrates than the others. But I trust this brand more than others, as I've used a number of their products and had good results. The flavor is OK, and mixibility is average, reflecting the milk proteins that tend to clump unless you use a good shaker cup or a blender.

I have used the Elite Gourmet of this product for years. It works fantastic and has minimum sugar. I try to avoid sugar as much as possible but I am happy to sacrifice to have a GREAT tasting protein. Suffering through a bad taste every day after a work out isn't worth it. I have used this product for a long time and have not found another that warrants a switch. That all being said, I tried the non gourmet version recently and it tasted like a foot. I went back to the Gourmet after returning the other to the store.

I've used this before, when it arrived I noticed it says "Now with added Fiber" which is probably why it's the worst mixing protein I've ever used--and I've tried a lot. It doesn't shake very well, foams something awful and leave chunks. Enjoy your chunky foam and bland milk. Taste is ok. Disappointed.

I have purchased this product locally several times and LOVED it. It has good flavor, not gritty or chunky. The one I purchased through amazon, stays chunky and gritty, no matter how much liquid I add or how long I shake it. The price is great through Amazon, but I will go back to my local store to purchase.

This product is good. Right price when I bought it at $44 and taste great. Is good if you want to save some money vs the $58 gold standard. But here's the catch... Less protein in nutrition which in paper didn't look that much like 21g vs 24g or so on gold standard. But when drinking the smoothie I felt the different this being more light, got hungry again faster than gold standard for example. Don't get me wrong I like this brand a lot and if you want the bigger protein per serving dymatize offer another with the 24g of protein which I love and gave the 5 stars for some bucks less than gold standard. If feeling fuller when drinking smoothie is important go with the 24g and up proteins per serving. If not this will suffice for price and taste.

I have tried the pretty much all flavors offered by dymatize and to me this is BY FAR the best tasting protein they offer.On the flips idea the mixability of this product is below the others. It tends to stick to the sides of the containers but with a second fill of water it all comes off. It does not clump though.I feel mixability of this product is something you can look past based on its superior taste. It's like a treat after a great workout!
