Long Platform

My degus love this.

Excellent. I have two female rats who love and need these to get around effectively - opening up whole new areas. They are sturdy and durable, feel nice on the hand and stand the test of time (except for the one that one of my rats chewed through). The design and material is simple, yet effective. I have ended up buying lots of these, including the corner platforms, and the single short platforms, because the cage as it originally was, had a great deal of unusable space in it. It was a three level cage with stairs between each level, and each level only occupying half a side - now thanks to these things, it's more like a six level cage, with access to all sides right the way round, they always get excited when a new one goes in, and it gives me the opportunity it put their food in unusual places inside (when not putting it in their massive cardboard maze outside) which is a boredom breaker and makes for a challenge, exercise, and mental stimulation.

These are brilliant BUT when one of my rats peed on it I rinsed it in the shower, left it to dry overnight and its warped and coming apart, also sticky from the glue? Great product but won't last long if you wet it.

My rats absolutely love this. We have 2 of this size, and 10 of the other sizes sold by this seller, around their 122cm high cage and they jump easily from platform to platform to travel up and down. They also sleep, groom and play on them. I was worried they would chew through the platforms, as rats do with so many things, but excluding a single exploratory nibble when first introduced into the cage, the rats see them as part of the cage wall and not as chew toys. Sturdy, well made, and can get cheaper 'refills' without the metal attachment. Great product(s)!

Easy to fit, very lightweight. BB the degu loves to sit & chew on his platforms (I don't mind, keeps him busy) Love how refills are available. I'd recommend this for all small critters (mice, gerbils, hamsters, rats, degu, chinchillas) Nice company to deal with, have bought a few things over the years, always quick deliver & great customer services. Have this one, the corner platform & the three single platforms in BB's huge cage (you may be able to make them out in the picture) Will be back for refills when he's destroyed these ones

Absolutely brilliant. My chinchillas love it. It sturdy and easy to attach on to my cage. I will definitely buying the refills when I need them.

They are brilliant when you have a really big cage, you can have shelves dotted all over. Only trouble is my degus enjoy chewing them too much so go through quite a few.
