Decided to buy this to assist with HVAC works. Have to say it’s a good bit of kit. Easy to use. Shows more than enough detail to show you what’s going on where hot and cold spots are. Can’t wait to use on site. Best part was the price far cheaper than direct from FLIR

I was worried as a number of the reviews are a bit negative - and it looks like they refer to different (less powerful) models. I've just received my FLIR Edge Pro, setup was super simple and the photos it takes are amazing! Can easily see some insulation issues that were picked up by a contract with a significantly more expensive camera. Examples attached. It seems to do a nice mix of visual plus infrared (though you can select one or the other). Camera setup is really easy, no instructions needed. Download app, turn on camera, allow app to connect to camera, and take pictures! I've not yet had to read the manual and everything is really intuitive. By default you can select 1,2 or 3 spots as well as highest or lowest spot to show the temperature of. It also has 1GB free cloud integration (FLIR Ignite) and you can re-edit / move the spots on there.

overall a great infrared camera for the price. there are a few issues that stop me giving 5 stars. the software is glitchy at times and is very laggy on older phones. the Wifi connection can drop, especially in an environment with lots of RF interference (many wifi routers or radios nearby). most annoyingly the images and video have a FLIR watermark that can not be disabled - this was not immediately obvious from reading the product description.

The Flir and a tiny bluetooth humidity sensor gave me a far better understanding of what was causing the mold problems in my end terrace than the so called expert from the damp proofing company with his little "moisture meter" who insisted we had penetrating and rising damp. The humidity sensor told me that the warm air in my rooms was getting damp when we cooked or had a shower... and the Flir showed me the spots on the wall that were below the dew point (which oddly enough corresponded almost exactly with where the mold was forming. It's amazing what a little extra ventilation can fix.

So was able to get an early order in at Amazon and it arrived today ! The good - form factor - feels quality - works on iOS (usb-c iPads and lightning and android) - uses the same FLIR ONE app as before The bad - the wireless is poor, sluggish at best - keeps timing out - range is like 5m, NOT 30 ! - no tripod mount fixing point - price if hefty !! I hope they will allow for a wired connection with a future update I hope they will release a windows client/method to use on laptop

The ti sensor is the same as sub£ 100.00 plug phone thermal cameras, avaliable elsewhere msx is ok , save yourself being ripped off ,look elsewhere, not worth over £500.00

Before you buy, have a look at the FLIR One app reviews, they are really bad. The latest version of the app is pretty crippled in terms of what it used to be able to do. My FLIR One Edge Pro cameras were misaligned out of the box and there's no way of manually aligning them. For such a pricy product I would expect better support, both app and support wise. The device itself is pretty decent but I don't trust FLIR's software support. I've sent my camera back and will use a competitor.

Goed opgeladen voor het straten maar product is waardeloos qua software en updaten. Product was al gelijk lastig te koppelen en daarna meerdere updates proberen uit te voeren na contact support. Die gaven doodleuk aan dat ik een andere telefoon moest proberen. Nou dat wordt dus een ander merk warmtebeeld camera en dat wordt geen FLIR product meer. Wat een troep. Afrader.

Pas de suivi de l'application. App pas mis a jour donc l'appareil ne sert a rien ! Honteux de vendre un produit professionnel a ce prix et ne pas assurer le suivi

No hay nada mejor que esto por su portabilidad y facilidad de uso. Simplemente cárgalo y lo conectará a tu iPhone a través de la aplicación Flir. La aplicación es muy buena y es fácil tomar medidas y fotografías. La resolución no es tan buena como la de otros en el mercado, pero funciona lo suficientemente bien para pruebas básicas. Un problema que es muy molesto y que debería recibir una estrella reducida: la cámara se desconecta varias veces durante el uso. Cada reconexión tarda aproximadamente un minuto. Esto puede ser un problema si no tienes paciencia.

Ho comprato questa termocamera perché, trovandomi a ristrutturare casa, mi interessava poter vedere il corretto funzionamento degli impianti e eventuali perdite, surriscaldamenti e dispersioni di calore per ottimizzare il consumo energetico. Questo modello di termocamera mi è piaciuto particolarmente perché non ha un proprio display il che permette di poter utilizzare il display di un qualsiasi telefono Android o iPhone, quindi anche un dispositivo più grande tipo un tablet, ed avere una visione più ampia di ciò che si sta inquadrando. Ho escluso le termocamere con attacco USB Type-C perché perché le ho considerate un po' delicate, qualora dovesse rompersi il lo spinotto Type-C inserito sotto al telefono sarebbe veramente un problema. La termocamera si collega al telefono tramite bluetooth, la configurazione è semplice, basta accendere la termocamera ed avviare l'app, questa vedrà subito la termocamera e chiederà di connettersi, da allora sarà possibile vedere sul dispositivo ciò che si sta riprendendo, registrare video e scattare foto che verranno memorizzati nel dispositivo in uso. Quello che più mi è piaciuto di questa termocamera e sicuramente la sua sensibilità; l'ho provata su diversi oggetti tipo il condizionatore, il frigo, il notebook e naturalmente si vede una grossa differenza di temperatura in maniera molto evidente. Questo per esempio mi ha fatto scoprire che il frigo disperde perché non chiude bene (colorazione blu) ma ciò che mi ha veramente sorpreso è stato quando ho inquadrato il soffitto, infatti ho potuto notare che ad agosto la temperatura delle travette era diversa da quella delle pignatte il ché suggerisce che le travette e le pignatte conducono il calore in maniera diversa questo per sottolineare la sensibilità di questo prodotto e l’utilità nel trovare eventuali ponti termici. La fattura è buona, presenta infatti un rivestimento in gomma che la protegge da eventuali urti e la rende al contempo molto ergonomica da manovrare, e niente, come dicevo l'ho comprata usata da Amazon Warehouse ma è arrivata praticamente nuova e penso di aver fatto un buon affare Ho contattato anche l'assistenza per alcuni dubbi che avevo e questa si è rivelata molto veloce nel rispondere La consiglio ampiamente rispetto ad altri prodotti
