Really good product, I actually use it on my Golf trolley to hold a Garmin G80 GPS Rangefinder, it works perfectly. The retaining arms/clips on each side have a soft touch coating which protects your device, the action of the arms moving outwards reminds me of an old TEAC cassette deck I once had, it is extremely smooth, its so easy to attach or detach a device. Fitting the unit to a trolley or bike is easy and once on it's solid, its also easy to manipulate the position of your device so you can optimise the screen position on the fly. I wanted to use for a while before writing a review, couldn't be happier with my purchase...

The product is really good, now that I've had it for a while, the build quality is very solid and the mount works perfectly as intended, the clasps are very well thought out, they don't interfere with the screen even on a phone with a curved screen like the Samsung Galaxy S10. The rubber bands also don't interfere with the usage of the screen and add extra security to the phone however I truly believe that even without them the mount hold well enough to never have to worry about the phone dropping, Fitment is great, all the joints hold tightly and haven't come loose over time. I'm using this on a motorbike and even going on the motorway it didn't budge, the bar mount works like any other, and is pretty simple to put on and remove, my only complaint is that with the way the screw goes in by default it prohibits the angle of the mount because it's blocked by the triple tree of the bike. however, you can turn the screw around so the knob faces upwards to fix this, there is no indent for the hext screw, but I still managed to tighten it using only my hands and it didn't come loose. I honestly think giving this extra £5-10 over some of these super cheap mounts is worth it for the amazing quality you get. In terms of holding your phone and build quality this easily competes with the likes of RAM mount for a quarter of the price. 5/5

I haven't put this on my bicycle yet, but i tried the phone on it and it feels very secure :) It has security for both the ball and the handle bar mount. Update: After a bike ride i can confirm that your phone will be 100% secure with this mount. If you use this for its advertised use (to see your phone's screen for gps, calls, etc) you'll be pleased with its sturdyness and security. If you're like me and you're looking for an inexpensive way to use your phone to record/stream your bike rides: a) if it's a motorbike or bicycle with suspension (at least front) you'll proly have a smooth-ish footage. b) if it's a bicycle with no suspension (road bike) and your area has bumps, generally bad spots in the streets, or if you go on offroad bike rides, the footage won't be good. No matter how much you fasten the mount it will always be affected by the vibrations. (Which is only natural) There might be an improvement by using some kind of shock absorbing gel tape (there are some on amazon) but i haven't tried it yet). All in all the product does what it promises which is mounting your phone securely on a wide range of handle bar sizes, rotating 360° horizontaly and leaving you access to the monitor. (The rubber bands do not affect the screen touch (e.g press stuff on their own)) Extra little details that were cool: I got a card with a qr code that gave me lifetime warranty and 50% off amazon code for TruActive products :) There are 10 or more spare elastic bands (in diff colors too) in the package AND a spare screw thingy for the handle bar mount! It also doesn't need any tools to be mounted on the handlebar, which will come in handy if you wanna lock the bike somewhere and take the mount with you so it doesn't get stolen or damaged :)

I bought this product for use whilst working as a bike courier. In the box, there was the bike mount itself, with a red elastic holder already installed, as well as a bag containing a variety of other colours. In order to place this on my bike, all I had to do was unscrew the retainer, place it around the handlebars and rescrew. So far, the mount has held up to daily use, without dropping my phone out onto the road. As I'm using a road bike, I experience a lot of vibration when cycling, so the only drawback of this product is the slight slipping of the connection between the bike mount and the support holding my phone. Other than this, the product is brilliant. Great value for money, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a phone mount who's on a budget.

I do a lot of cycling in all weathers, road and off road. Having had a few holders previously I opted for a change for my new phone. Previous (main line brand) holder whilst slim line was fiddly to use (had to remove the phone cover each time I rode) and also did not securely hold the phone (resulted in 1 dropped phone & 1 smashed screen) made me look else where. I opted for this Truactive holder due to the price and robust appearance. Delivery was quick and ordered 2 for myself and my wife for an upcoming holiday in France where we planned to do plenty of cycling. Installation was simple on the bike - sits higher than my previous holders - not sure if this is a positive or negative or neither. Fitting the phone to the holder is easy enough - fits any case and the hydraulic action grip and release is pretty cool. The elastic strapping is fiddly at first but you get used to it... important thing was that it had a good grip of the phone. This was tested on many rough and potholes tracks during my vacation and never gave a hint of letting me down. Swivel mechanism was easy to use to reposition or orientated the phone. Again feels solid and held the phone in place even over the rough stuff. on the whole there's a feeling of quality - more than the price suggests. Nearly 3 weeks of solid cycling on roads, tracks and off road - this holder did the job. Very satisfied. Would recommend.

There are tons of these products (phone holders) out there, and it may be pretty daunting to figure out which ones are the best. I ride between 4,000 and 6,000 miles per year while in my bike club, and have been testing these holders for years. There has been a survival-of-the-fittest testing going on on all of my fat bike, road bike and hybrid rides for some years as well. I have come to some tried-and-true conclusions: First off, the holders that I narrowed down to using on my bikes in past years eventually had problems and had to be replaced. When I jumped back into the market for the 3rd or 4th time, I had a lot of "do's and don'ts". I wanted to purchase my most recent holder again, but it was no longer available, so I looked at the many offerings with an open mind. I ended up settling on what I thought was the closest model to my old ones, but they also had some extra features over my old ones, which is great. Here are some things to consider: 1) Many of the tough looking, shell-type cases, are too heavy, offer too much of a wind profile, block the area of where you need to swipe down or up from on our phone, and block the volume controls. They often don't even have soft pads for the phone to sit on and stabilize. Not good. 2) Some folks have derided the rubber bands that are used on this product. They ignore the advantages that they present: The bands act as mini shock absorbers and allow freedom for swiping and access to the volume controls, etc. The band may wear out after years, but TruActive gives you a bunch of them in different colors for no extra charge. I actually matched them to the highlight colors of my bikes. The bands hold in support of the side braces and the phone is totally stable. 3) One issue with all my previous holders is in facing them just the way I like. TruActive has remedied this with a pivot arm that is lockable with a twist nut. The method works perfectly. 4) Many of the holders either do not mount onto your bike well, or are only good for locking on certain sized bars. But this holder has a wide range, grip pad inserts, and comes with a couple bolt lengths for you to choose from. Also, the locking mechanism for the mount (not to be confused with its separate, pivot lock) is really easy to adjust and is very strong indeed. 5) OMG, these are some of the least inexpensive holders! That really made me second-guess myself. How can the holders with the lowest cost be the best??? I did not buy them based on price, but the pricing is a great bonus. Finally, these phone holders will be my go-to for the foreseeable future. I now have 5 of this TruActive model and am recommending them to friends. They kind of sell themselves though because my amigos and amigas know that I am a rough rider and put my equipment through quite a grind. Having a great phone holder, especially coupled with a Bluetooth speaker, really opens up the possibilities on bike rides. I use voice navigation for when my routes are complex, and on certain rides, I play a lot of music. This product is really good and stacks up to the best cost-no-object holders that I have seen or used, even though it is one of the least expensive. Cheers!

In the late spring of 2022 I purchased this phone holder for my motorcycle as I wanted to do some road trips across Nova Scotia. First off, It's easy to install on your handlebars. The elastics that come with it, hold the phone down nicely. The claws that clamp on to each side of the phone work very nicely. It holds it firmly. While out riding the motorcycle with the phone holder on the handle bar, it is very sturdy, the phone does not move around at all. I have no fear of my phone coming loose and flying off while riding down the highway. You need to set it at an angle so the sun doesn't reflect off the screen. I'm going to see if a type of sun shade/blocker can be purchased to block the sun. But all in all, it is a great product. Very durable. Very happy with my purchase. The phone holder has had many kilometers put on it this biking season.

Lo instalé en mi MTB y la verdad es que hace su cometido a la perfección. Anteriormente he tenido otro y no se fijaba muy bien al manillar, este sin embargo queda bien sujeto, no se mueve y envuelve perfectamente el móvil, evitando que no se vean bien las instrucciones o que se pueda caer. Una compra totalmente recomendable.
