Worth more than what youre paying for it.
At first I was tentative to buy this rack without too many reviews. However the ones that were here were all positive, and the price was right so I went ahead. I'm so glad that I did. You will not find a power rack with this many options (cable pulley, dip bars, multiple pull up options) for a cheaper price. Here are the pros and cons imo. Pros: very solid Very cheap Not too big (about 7ft tall) Fits olympic 7' bar perfectly for me Cable pulley (not perfect but definitely decent) Dip bars Good pull up bars Cons: 1. The cable pulley can only be used from the bottom and the top position. In other words, its not adjustable like the high end ones you find in gyms. But after you put some wd40 on the rails and put some weight on it, the pulley does move fairly smoothly. Not as smoothly as commercial gyms $1000+ cables but better than others ive tried previously. 2. There is no safety bars that would often be including with standard square box squat racks. So if you have to bail out of a squat or something, you have to dump the bar off your back if you cant get the bar back up to rack it. 3. Place included to put dumbells and weight plates on kind of sucks. Its usable, but id rather just keep the plates leaning against the walls or the sides of the rack. I put my 10s 5s and 2.5s on them along with cable attachment (v bar, single handle, and ankle attachment included) but other than that i keep the heavier plates off of them. Not because theyre flimsy or anything just because of convenience. Obviously the adjustable bench needs to be bought separately along with the weight bar and weights. But thats standard for something like this. Overrall I think this is a great buy for someone looking to squat, bench, row, deadlift, and basically do anthing a normal box could help you do in a gym, but be able to stay in your own home. I never write reviews on products I buy (mostly out of laziness honestly) but I thought this product deserved it. Especially for that price.

Good for small spaces
Solid piece of equipment that is good for smaller spaces. I received the cage in two boxes that were VERY beat up. Luckily, the items were well packaged and all parts were present. Assembly: It took about 2.5 hours to put it all together (the first time, more on that later). I took my time and had a second set of hands help on some of the more difficult spots. Of note, there are several bolts that come up from the bottom of the base - I put the bolts in and used tape over their heads to keep them from falling out — this really helped with the installation of the frame sides. Also, the instructions mention this, but just to reiterate - don’t tighten ANYTHING down until you have the entire cage loose-assembled. At that point, it was easy to work from top to bottom tightening all bolts and by the time I got to the bottom bolts, the cage was sturdy enough to lay it on it’s back to tighten the screws coming up from the underneath. Functionality: - This unit is solid. I weigh around 210lbs and the cage had only very slight movement (as one would expect) with pull-ups. - Pull-up station - Good variety of hand placement grips for pull-ups and the cage is tall enough to do pull-ups without too much awkward knee bending. - Cable machine - this is a very basic cable assembly station that you will have to make some significant compromises to use. A. The top pulley isn’t very high up, so lat-pull downs are very difficult (imagine kneeling or sitting on the floor). The bar it comes with is NOT wide enough to do lat-pull downs with also. B. The bottom pulley is NOT stationary... it is attached to the plate holder and moves up as you pull the cable out. Imagine you are doing a curl - the pulley is at the floor when your arms are straight out but when your arms are fully flexed (at the top of the movement), the pulled is chest high — changing the geometry of your movement. C. There is not much room inside the cage for you to perform exercises. I attempted to do seated rows and there simply wasn’t enough room inside the cage for me to accomplish this exercise (I am no giant - 6 ft tall). D. The pulley’s don’t swivel - they are fixed, so you have to face the pulley straight on - - not a big deal usually, but as mentioned the room inside the cage is very limited and lack of swiveling pulley’s makes some exercises impossible from inside the cage. ***These problems led me to take the top off the cage and change the orientation of the cable from inside the cage to the outside. This tear-down and re-build took about 45 minutes total, but it allowed me to more fully use the cable system without the space constraint inside the cage. Of note, this did put the cable system weight carrier inside the cage, so while doing sit-ups (if I ever use that station), I will likely have to put tension on the cable to raise the unloaded weight carrier out of the way. - Squat / bench press: A. Plenty of adjustments for where to place the safety catches - - although, because there are only two of them, they are really the bar holder (think J hooks on regular systems). B. Because the safety catches are where your bar will start from, you do have to be aware of the plane of movement for your exercise... if you place the bench too far back, the bar will run into the safety catches during exercise. I really wish the cage came with J hooks AND safety catches. I haven’t experimented yet but I think the angle of the cage will make it difficult to order aftermarket attachments for this cage. C. This lack of a 2nd set of safety catches makes safely going heavy on some exercises by yourself dangerous - if you get stuck, will have to tip weights off the bar or dump the bar off your back. Again, overall a nice rack for what it is. It is meant for smaller spaces - and it does a great job at maximizing what you can do in a smaller space. Be aware, you will have to make some compromises with this rack. If you don’t want to compromise and you have the room and budget - look for something else.... this works well for me and gives me lots of new options for home workouts!

Great value, perfect for the home gym. Installation help below.
Great deal for the price. The pulley is great, although keep in mind the angle of the bottom cable will rise as you pull outward, so if you're trying to do an exercise on the ground using the bottom pulley, the angle will change throughout the motion (not that bad IMO). Feels sturdy and fits great in my garage. A couple of tips for assembly: -First step: slide the bolts up through the bottom piece, and screw on the nut on the top where all four posts go. This way when it lays down flat on the ground, the bolts will stay in place and won't fall all the way through, you can unscrew the nut, and mount the post one by one. -Pulley: put the top one in first, and then the bottom (you can pull the whole sliding piece up to mount the bottom) As a side, I tried mounting from the second from the bottom hole on the top, and the sliding piece does not come in contact with the rubber at the bottom, putting extra tension on the cable even when not in use, so I would mount to the bottom hole. -Tools: make sure you have a open-ended or ratcheting 5/8 wrench. A 5/8 socket and ratchet speed up the installation (standard spark plug socket works) -You can do this installation BY YOURSELF! For the pieces that connect the side pillars, put the bottom two bolts in and hand tighten the nuts, and the straight pillar and bent piece will slide into the brackets. But of course it's always good to have a buddy present in case something you didn't screw on securely falls onto your head :)

Had the unit for a couple of days now and it does a pretty good job for a piece of home gym equipment. The dip station is a little wide and I don't have a lot of confidence that it'll hold up; it seems unlikely to hold up to many dips by a 200lb dude. Assembly will take 2 people minimum, and a few of the bolts had a hard time accepting the nuts. Be prepared to spend 2hrs or so putting things together.
