Sturdy and Reliable Fuel Can – Perfect for Small Fuel Storage
I recently purchased the CarPlan Unleaded Petrol Fuel Can - Green, 5 L and I’m really happy with my choice! The can is made from durable, high-quality plastic that feels solid and built to last. It's the perfect size for storing a small amount of petrol, ideal for topping up my lawnmower, generator or other small engine equipment. The design is user-friendly, with a comfortable handle that makes it easy to carry and pour. The spout is well-designed and ensures a controlled, spill-free pour, which I really appreciate when dealing with petrol. I’ve used other fuel cans in the past, but this one stands out for how easy it is to use and how well it keeps everything secure. The 5L capacity is just right for my needs, and the green colour makes it easy to spot and distinguish from other cans I may have in the shed. It’s also very lightweight, which makes it easy to move around, even when full. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this fuel can. It’s a reliable and safe choice for anyone needing to store petrol for smaller vehicles or equipment. I highly recommend it!

Okay to hold fuel - but fails on dispensing fuel
As a fuel container, this is fine with a low centre of gravity and a secure cap. The spout, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The spout locates into the can with a tapered fitting and no matter how tight you screw it on, the spout is still not fully secured and fuel can drip out of the joint. I added a rubber o-ring under the spout nut which allows the nut to be more fully tightened down and make a better seal with the can. Fortunately, I have a number of o-rings to hand but Joe Average should not have to modify something that should be designed to dispense fuel in a safe fashion. (And I'm not sure how long the o-ring may last is contact with petrol). A one-piece spout with a moulded securing nut and internal seal (similar to the cap) would be a better solution.
