I couldn’t actually believe I paid more than £50 for what is essentially a scientifically more advanced milk whisk. However I have realised, since it arrived, how it is worth every penny of its premium cost. I have owned many many different milk frothing products in the 15+ years I’ve owned a Nespresso coffee machine and enjoyed making premium quality lattes - from simple electric whisks to auto-frothing heating jugs and aerocinnos, and none of them have foamed milk to the same quality as this excellent little device. I bit the bullet and bought the rechargeable model as it is more powerful than the battery powered version and has 2 speeds, which the battery one doesn’t. It comes with 2 filters - fine and superfine. Both produce fantastically foamy milk, even from skimmed milk, that makes velvety smooth lattes that are way better than any store bought latte I’ve ever had. I prefer the smaller microbubbles produced by the superfine screen, the taste is so smooth and velvety it’s almost beyond belief. As a Yorkshireman, I’m primarily a tea drinker, but since I got my nanofoamer I’ve hardly touched tea at all - which is high praise for this device indeed. Shares in Yorkshire Tea will plunge as a result!!! I drink hot chocolate at night to limit my caffeine intake, and this too has been majorly improved by nanofoamed milk. The yum factor is off the scale!!! It’s easy to use, easy to clean and the battery lasts a good long while. I haven’t regretted buying this premium device once since I first used it, as the quality beverage it helps create is beyond anything I’ve previously had. It’s pricey but, by heck, it’s worth every penny! If I could afford it, I’d buy one of these for each of my family and friends so they too could experience the joyous beverage it produces. As I can’t, they’ll just have to settle for enjoying it when they visit… and they’ll doubtless visit more often once they taste my marvellous nanofoamed coffees! Definite two thumbs up for the nanofoamer, a 5 star device if ever there was one.

Very expensive frother. I bought it for travel and go with my electric coffee maker. I liked the powerful motor the design and usb c port. The mesh frother instead of the usual coil end seemed to male this stand out. However, this frother is only good at cold milk. With hot milk, this frother fails to make any froth at all. You just end up with hot milk with loose bubbles and no froth. Absolutely disappointed. Wasted money. Don't fall for thr flashy video like I did. At the end of the day, what ever it looks, feels like, with whatever motor, materials and ergonomics etc..it needs to fofill its basic function. Which this does not.

Doesn’t always start and falls short on power given the price. The build quality and design are well done but for the price it could have been metal and with optional speed levels vs single speed. If all you want is foaming then it does that although it would have been useful to include an attachment for mixing without the foaming.

Da amante del cappuccino e dopo avere provato diversi montalatte, parlando della mia personale esperienza i primi tentativi non hanno dato risultati soddisfacenti ma bisogna trovare il modo giusto per fare una buona schiuma. I video online possono dare una dritta. Dopo qualche settimana posso confermare che si tratta di un buon prodotto. Migliore di montalatte elettrici classici della stessa cifra e anche molto più cari che ho prontamente reso. Si ottiene una schiuma molto densa e liscia che io personalmente prediligo rispetto anche a quella dei bar che trovo poco compatta e piena di bolle d'aria.

Es war wieder soweit: ich brauchte wieder einen neuen Milchschäumer, der 3. Aerolatte hatte seinen Geist aufgegeben. Ich wusste ja bereits über die Jahre, dass es riesen Unterschiede bei den Geräten gibt, aber das die sooo groß sein können? Krass! Von allen meiner Geräte hatten mir bislang der Aerolatte als Handgerät und als stationäres der Aereccino von Nestlé gefallen, weil der die Milch auch gleich warm macht. Beide Geräte arbeiten mit der allseites bekannten "Spirale", die einen schönen, aber eher festen Schaum machen. Wer damit zufrieden ist: wunderbar, kaufen und zufrieden sein. Auf der Suche nach dem besten Handgerät auf dem Markt bin ich dann aber schnell beim Subminimal Lithium gelandet, da er mit der neu entwickelten "Propellertechnik" arbeitet - und das macht einen erstaunlich großen Unterschied,mit dem ich nicht gerechnet habe! Nachdem ich mir nach dem Kauf des Subminimal erstmal das kostenlose, ausführliche Online - Tutorial zur Latte Art Masterclass (oder so ähnlich) angesehen habe, war ich erstmal beeindruckt, weil ich das mal als ein wirklich gut gemachtes Tutorial empfunden habe. Danach habe ich mich gleich daran gemacht und herumexperimentiert, mit Milch, aber auch mit Wasser und Spüli und Kakaopulver, um den perfekten Schaum zu machen. Es ging auf Anhieb mit beiden der mitgelieferten Siebe. Und der Schaum war um Welten besser als mit den herkömmlichen Geräten, das hätte ich echt nicht gedacht! Die Milch wird feinporig und richtig vollmundig wie von einem guten Barista an der Maschine gezogen. Klar muss man das ein paar Mal üben wo man wie und wie lange das Gerät hinhält, aber dann geht es mühelos! Das Gerät wirkt super robust, es gibt (im Gegensatz zum batteriebetriebenen Subminimal V2, der hat nur eine) 2 Geschwindigkeitsstufen und der Akku hält für viele Tassen durch und lässt sich per usb c aufladen. Ja: der Preis ist hoch, aber das Ergebnis ist wirklich eine andere Liga. Jetzt übe ich ernsthaft Latte Art damit! Falls Ihr wegen des günstigeren Preises auf den Subminimal V2 schielt: ja der ist auch deutlich besser als jedes Spiralgerät, aber kommt mit einer Geschwindigkeitsstufe daher, die zwischen den beiden Stufen des Lithium liegt, der Rest ist quasi baugleich und er macht auch sehr guten Schaum. Aber zumindest mir gelingt er mit dem Lithium nochmal besser (ich habe beide Geräte - den Lithium zu Hause, den V2 auf der Arbeit), den perfekten Schaum herzustellen. Also wer das Geld dafür hat: meine Empfehlung habt Ihr.
