Good thick leather binding, nice sturdy pages and leather binding strap. Perfect spell tome for D&D or other fantasy hobbies.

Repeat buyer. Whenever someone mentions anything about wanting a notepad/journal I go straight to Moonster and the products never fail to deliver on quality. I absolutely love this journal, from the leather binding to the aged effect of the pages. I wish it was for me, but its bougt as a gift for someone for Christmas. I'm sure he will love it, as it is perfect for what he wants to use it for. - The journal feels and looks amazing, soft dark brown leather and light in weight overall. The distressed page edges are perfect and make the book look magical and ancient. The craftmanship is impressive, with no faults or imperfections to be found. This isnt the first, and it wont be the last time I buy products from Moonster becuase their products are absolute perfection.

This is beautiful. It is much more than it looks. I have bought others in the past that have been disappointing but this one blew me away. It has been made with such care and I was extremely, pleasantly surprised, when I opened the package. For something this beautiful I'd expect to pay at least double the price I paid. The soft leather cover is so authentic and the internal paper sleets are so thick. It is beautiful - I am only using it for photo props but I will treasure it and find a suitable use for it in time - until then it will be featuring in many of my book review photos!

I bought this because it had such good reviews and it was nice, but on arrival I found that the paper was quite dark and wasn’t suitable for my purpose. I wanted to use it for botanical sketches and watercolour paintings. The photos of the journal showed lighter paper and that is what I was hoping for but as a handmade product there is obviously a degree of individuality. I think it would be good for writing in. In addition the paper was quite fibrous and did not feel like it had been pressed between rollers like papers that I have used previously. But it did feel like cotton paper. The leather was lovely and it was very nicely made and I was sad that it didn’t suit my purpose and that is the only reason I sadly withheld one star.

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel this needs one. The design is beautiful, it’s beautiful, the leather case is really nice, this is definitely going to last . The paper is a cotton. It was that good that I bought a dairy today from the same company and I have to say that’s as beautiful as the first one. 2 in 2 days 🙈

Me gusta tanto que me ocurre como en una vieja película japonesa "Utamaru y sus mujeres" en la que una bella geisha quiere que el famoso pintor Utamaru le tatúe la espalda, cuando se desnuda y Utamaru ve esa maravilla, esa belleza, pálida y delicada como la luna... se niega a corromper con la tinta el mejor lienzo que jamás se puso delante de él." A mi me ocurre lo mismo con este precioso libro, ni siquiera me atrevo a escribir los poemas que tengo guardados sobre esta preciosidad. Está hecho por artesanos indios, lo que para mi tiene un valor añadido y se siente con autenticidad y calidad. El precio es tan bajo en comparación con su calidad que me queda la sensación de que es un trato injusto. Pongo dos fotos, una con lector Kindle encima para apreciar las proporciones.

Wonderful leather quality, great binding with only minor disasjustment of one of the cotton paper inserts. Comes with a super sweet cotton bag to keep it in while traveling. It's already my favourite travel journal ever. Warranty is also great. Downside: must be aired out before use. I had to leave it opened on a table for two days.

This book is really well made and just beautiful. It came packaged in a cloth bag, which was nice. The pages have a luxurious thickness and texture, and coupled with the handstitching and deckled edges it takes you back to a time when books were handmade, precious artifacts. The binding was gorgeously soft leather (very leather smelling--maybe not everyone's preference but I think it suits the design). I gave this as a gift and not only the recipient loved it but everyone else wanted to know where I got it so they could order it. As an added bonus, I love that it's a family-owned business, the materials are all ethically sourced, and they donate a portion of their profits to charity. I don't know how it will hold up to writing and use as it was a gift for someone else, but even from the perspective of presentation I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again (and still might have to buy myself one).
