Helix10cm / 360 degree Protractor H03

Item arrived well ahead of schedule, well protected and in excellent condition. Protractor is 10cm in diameter and is made of sturdy but thin transparent light blue plastic. There is a wide 'equatorial' grip band of plastic that extends from 0 degrees to 180 degrees. A clear thin black line along this band marks the 0/180 degree mark and, along this line, there is a magnified 'cross hair' to denote the centre of the circle. The edge of the protractor is comfortably chamfered all around with very clear thin black markings indicating one degree each. There are major markings every ten degrees, accompanied by clear numerical representation of angle in both clockwise and anticlockwise fashion. There are similar major markings every five degrees, but without numerical representation.I bought this 360 degree Protractor for a mini-maths project that I am doing, having long since left my Maths 'A' level some 45 years back. Helix were producing similar protractors and set-squares then (and for a long time before that) and I was confident that I would get a reliable and effective product with not much expense. I am expecting to receive another item from their range anytime soon. Very satisfied with this product, and would recommend it to any student. It does the job perfectly. Its beauty is in its simplicity.

It would be better if the mid zero line was on the inner edge of the central cross piece.

OK Product but would be better if the plastic was not so heavily coloured so that the lines stood out more clearly.
