Amazon Basics by SKIL 4V Cordless Stick Screwdriver with 10-Piece Bit Set and USB Cable

This is a must-need tool for most households. Think about how many times you may use a screwdriver in a year... for everything from hanging pictures, to assembling furniture, to opening devices to get to their batteries, etc. A simple yet powerful electric screwdriver like this one makes tasks so much quicker and easier. I also have power drills but most of the time, all I need is a simple powered screwdriver like this. I purchased this one as a replacement for my aging non-rechargeable one that required 4 AA batteries and didn't work nearly as well as this one. This little guy is great. I love how it is rechargeable, has a LED light on it that my old one did not have (this came in handy during my first use!), and how it comes with a bit set for those who may not have one yet. It was a great deal for an indispensable, quality tool. It is lightweight, fits well in my hand, and performs well. Highly recommended for most households when a power drill isn't needed for the job.

I bought this after watching a YouTube video that compared this product with five or six other brands. It did admirably well. It is well constructed, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, it feels comfortable in the hand, the forward/reverse button is well located, the 3 torque settings feel powerful and it can be used as a regular screwdriver without having to make any adjustments or press anything. It now lives in my PC repair tool bag just aching to be used. Just one word of advice... go easy on the forward/reverse button. This screwdriver packs quite a punch. Highly recommended.

Would give it 4 stars but thats just a me issue. Does not do well with objects that have a small lip on it and you're trying to screw into a wall. It will just be a struggle. However, for other jobs that doesn't have that issue the drill works great and very nice to have for other projects around the house.

The unit is well made. Very inexpensive. Lots of torque. Nice convenient size. Fits in a tool box and takes up hardly any room. Driver head are of good quality. Charges quickly and lasts quite a while. It is not designed for heavy duty work. If there is any drag on the screws the torque is transmitted to your hand. If you are not careful you will strip the screw heads of damage the bit head. I found that even with moderate levels of resistance when putting in a screw, the screwdriver quickly becomes hard to handle. There is no clutch so it just stops dead when it is pushed too hard. There is only a short wait until it comes back but still quite bothersome. Without a clutch its not safe to use on light duty items but fails as a driver for moderate torque screws.

Well, I took a chance on this one and am happy with it. I also bought a Makita Screwdriver set as well. The difference is the handle on the Makita that slopes down for a tighter application, but basically they are the same with one difference I find important. The Makita does not show the charging is done. If it does, I cannot find it. But you just charge when you need to. But this one has a nice weight, size, easy to use, has a light (important) for dark spaces, and enough force to do the all around household etc and more. Very comfortable to hold for a woman, and the bits go in and out securely and easily. It is built really well. It charges via a plug and a micro C into the driver. Amazon sure stepped up on this one. A great all around driver to have. Every household should have one.

Bought this because my son recommended it working on RC cars and it definitely works well! Description says the unit is built bySkil tools and that is definitely a plus! Unit has adjustable torque so you don't strip out screws putting them in. Comes with a 1/4 inch bit adapter and a small set of various sized screwdriver bits. Unit is about the diameter of a pair of "D" sized batteries end to end. It works well has a significant amount of reserve power, and charges from a USB "C" cable. I'm definitely happy with my purchase! The $20.50 price also makes this a rock solid deal. You won't regret the purchase.

I own a powerful electric drill. It's lasted for ages and I reach for it often. However, it's heavy, needs to be plugged to operate and it's just too much of a pain to pull out and plug in for small jobs. Sometimes it's just easier to grab a regular screwdriver. I've had a cordless screwdriver on my list of things to gt for a while and grabbed this one. Why didn't I get this sooner? It's so handy for small jobs. It's quick, easy, the torque is fine for its size and comes with a nice variety of common / essential bits. The handle design is comfortable in my hand and it's small, so I keep it in my kitchen "stuff" drawer instead of my toolbox. For the low price, this can't be beat. Every home should have one.

I bought this on a whim. I didn't need anything super crazy and some of the competition was more than double the price or had a design that didn't appeal for my use. PROS Seems very well made. Long battery life comes with bits Affordable under $25 bucks for something like this is crazy cheap. Cons The torque settings i just do not trust. It seems far more powerful than it gives itself credit for and i think if you're not careful it could easily strip or over tighten whatever you are using this for. It's heavy and bulky. Placement of buttons can be accidentally pressed easily. There's been times where i'll use it and accidentally press reverse instead of forward. This happens anytime i use the screwdriver as a manual thing Overall i love it, and will continue to constantly use it.

Wow solidly made screwdriver and impressive torque. I test drove 10 screws into hardwood and it went it quickly with no stoppage.Three different settings and a nice led light at the tip. Comes with some basic bits and USB C plug. Overall very impressed.
