KUM Automatic Long Point, WKDALPS, 105.31.21

honestly I was of the mind that a pencil sharpener is a pencil sharpener, however I recently bought some nice pencils so I thought I’d buy a nice sharpener to go with them, and all I can say is wow, the difference between a quality sharpener and a standard one is astonishing, it has two sides one for shaping the wood and one for sharpening the “lead” it puts a lovely long point on with minimal effort and even has two replacement blades inside it seems very durable and is definitely easy to use, I will not buy any other brand of pencil sharpener again, the quality for the price is absolutely peerless, the only thing I would say is to be careful not to sharpen to much off your pencils the first time you use it as I did, very light pressure and a gentle turn is all you need.

Fantastic sharpener capable of producing a consistent super sharp point on a regular pencil. The small side sharpener is the reason I bought this as I use a tracer pencil for work and find the sharpener that comes with it to be awful to use. This has again sorted that out and is perfect for use with the tracer pencil.

A brilliant little sharpener and it actually fits Derwent pastel pencils and blenders. Derwent pencils seem to be slightly larger in diameter to others. Pastel pencils are notoriously difficult to sharpen as they break or blunt the blades but this sharpener does the job better than much more expensive ones I have tried. It comes with two spare blades which are loose so I have secured them inside with a bit of tape so that they don't get thrown out when the sharpener is emptied. There are two little holes on the sides which I think are to sharpen propelling pencils. A tip I was given is that you sharpen the whole pencil from one hole and then you can put the pencil in the other side to sharpen to a really sharp point if you need it. Would thoroughly recommend and it did help that I had tried a friend's beforehand but not with Derwent pencils then. It is small so does not take up much room in your art bag.

Like other reviews mentioned, this sharpener has a very flimsy lid. I expected the lid is attached to the body with a hinge but no, it's not designed to last. The blades are good, however this sharpener will let you see whether your pencils are crap or of quality. Good pencils sharpen effortlessly smooth but my set of Chinese made coloured pencils required pressing the pencils into the sharpener. The "automatic" bit is where it stops shaving off your pencils once they've reached their point (pun intended). I ended up sharpening my pencils straight into the bin as the long point means more shavings come out than a standard sharpener, which fills up the canister quite quickly. The lead pointer section also attracts pencil shavings badly so if you don't blow the shavings out everytime you shave, it might be a major bummer to have a sharpener fills with pencils' "dust".

Fantastic bit of kit, allows you to get a wonderfully sharp pencil without loosing a lot of the length in shavings. It also sharpens leads in clutch pencils, again to a very fine point. Comes with extra blades but so far I’ve not needed them.

I have a large sharpener that attaches to my desk at home, but that's no good to take to my college class. This Kum sharpener gives a wonderful long sharp point and easily fits into my case (or pocket) also includes replacement blade. Very fast delivery too.

It's okay but not what I was looking for so will end up at the back of my draw because it shapens only a few mm more than a standard pencil sharpener. If like me you want a long drawing lead/graphite nib this isn't for you, but great otherwise, I'm sure one of my grandkids will claim it for school

What a great sharpener, I had heard of other brand longpoint sharpeners so thought I'd try one. This Kum sharpener from Amazon really works well to sharpen pencils to an ultra sharp point and is well made. Use the left hole first to cut back the wood, then the right to sharpen the Graphite to a really fine point. Spare blades are stored under the cover, which is a great bonus and there are holes on either side for 2mm automatic pencils, really well thought out sharpener at a great price, I purchased the multipack of three, which makes each sharpener less than £5 each. Recommended.

Ho trovato questo temperamatite grazie al consiglio di un amico, e devo dire che il prodotto è molto utile, poiché contiene in un unico oggetto un temperamatite a doppia azione, un temperamine da 2mm e un altro temperamine da 3,15mm. La "doppia azione" si riferisce al fatto che la matita passa prima dalla lama n°1 che porta via il legno, e poi nella lama n°2 che rende appuntita la mina. Comodissimo nell'uso e nella portabilità, è molto utile per chi ha bisogno di temperare continuamente la punta degli strumenti da disegno. Per quanto riguarda la struttura, avrei preferito pagarlo anche di più ma con un involucro in metallo. La plastica si deteriora più facilmente, ma non è di vitale importanza. Resta da valutare la durabilità del prodotto: spero che questo temperamatite duri quanto previsto, ad ogni modo nella confezione si possono trovare due ricambi di lama.

２種類の削り穴があるのが特徴の商品で、端的に言えば芯が長く削れる穴と、短く削れる穴があります。 最初はどちらも中途半端で芯先がうまくとがらず、だめ商品かと思っていました。 しかし、長い方で削った後、短い方で削ると、あっという間にぴんぴんに削れました！刃の削れ具合もなかなか良いです。とても良い商品だったと思います。
