Vitabiotics SuperDog Joints and Bones - 30 Chewable Tablets

Vital for my elderly dog. Great nutritional enhancement for him and keeps him moving. I've used this now for a couple of years. He's nearly 18 and loves it.

A bit of a sad one really. I can’t attest to the actual efficacy of the product, but felt it unfair to give a poor rating, given the unfortunate circumstances. My ten year old Rotterman was starting to really slow down with age, & was moaning & groaning a bit when it came to getting up from lying down. I wasn’t overly concerned & just put it down to getting a bit arthritic in her advancing years, I know the feeling, & am prone to a bit of moaning & groaning myself! 😆 I did a quick online search to see if there was anything she could take to ease her joints a bit. I was originally going to start her on some human supplements for arthritis, but was delighted to find out that these doggy supplements existed, which is obviously better as the dosages are more appropriate. The tablets themselves are pretty huge, but for a large, treat-hungry dog like mine, it wasn’t an issue, she wolfed them down readily, & like everything else she considered as food, they never even touched the sides! For smaller dogs, these tablets would seem as big as dinner plates, but the tablets are scored, so they’re easily snapped into more appropriately sized pieces. My dog had no adverse effects whilst on the tablets, no vomiting, & no dodgy stomach, so that was a relief. Now for the tissues-at-the-ready part. She’d been taking the supplements for about a week when, completely out of nowhere, her mobility took a dramatic turn for the worse. Her back end had gone entirely, & there was nothing that could be done, other than taking the heartbreaking, yet kindest, decision to have her put to sleep. 😔 I only wish I’d known about these supplements sooner, I’d have introduced them into her diet as a preventative measure in advance, rather than waiting until the first signs of any problem. I’m now going to supplement my other dog’s diet with these tablets for that reason, prevention is better than the cure. RIP gorgeous girl, you’ll forever be missed. 💕

These are very good tablets but they are massive. My dog has just developed arthritis and the vet wanted to sell me neutroquin for £67 a box and i may be old but daft i am not, so i grabbed these because my dog already takes their multiitamins. Now ingredients wise they are excellent but the size of the tablet is such a problem for me i won't be buying again. They are about the size of a 2p piece and about as thick as a love heart sweet or extra strong mint. My dog will not eat medicine, if i try and hide it in her food she can smell it and will refuse to eat, so i have to put it straight down her throat, and despite the fact that you can break this up into 4 as its scored, shoving 4 pieces into my dogs throat had her choking and giving me the evil eye and now she won't let me anywhere near her. If it were a smaller tablet, or even better a capsule it would be a solid 5 and a repeat buy, but despite the fact that i cannot knock them In terms of quality and price i won't be buying again.

amazing product my dog is doing so much better since he takes this. he used to be very stiff with arthritis in his back legs. he's doing so much better now,, i havent seen him limp or get legs stiffness since i started with this amazing product. i highly recommend it. ( he is a 13 years old border collie)

Originally, I thought that these did help my elderly German Shepherd with his hips, but after two boxes and several weeks of use there wasn't any real improvement. It did make his coat super soft and glossy and he liked the taste of them too on the plus side. I ended up buying glucosamine tablets instead, disguised in cheese he takes two a day and it has made quite the difference for him. Nothing is going to be a cure all but at least the other pills give some relief. Every dog is different though so what didn't work for my boy might for someone else's and it's worth a try for the price.

I got my order to day for the tablet's for my dog, but she was really sick after taking just half of one. Was not pleased so with that I want to unsubscribe from getting anymore but how do I do this??

I am very impressed with this purchase . My dogs are both 12 yrs old jack Russell & starting to slow down with arthritis . After taking them to the vet, who advised us to try the natural therapies route first. I studied many on amazon & decided after reading the reviews to try this product . I am very pleased that I did. It only took a few days before you could see the difference. My dogs have become puppies again, no aches or stiffness & their fur is so soft I can not believe it. They do not lose their fur as much as they used to either. Overall I am very pleased with this product & shall keep using it.

My Chow had an operation to repair a torn cruciate ligament in March 2013 and now also has arthritis as a result. None of the pain meds (NSAIDS) that we tried from the vets agreed with her so I had to switch to natural remedies. I started giving her 2 'SuperDog Joints & Bones' tablets per day, coupled with a devils claw herb and a course of hydrotherapy sessions. She has recovered amazingly well and I feel like these tablets have been a major help. I will continue to give her these for the rest of her life and just hope that I will always be able to get them from Amazon at this very competitive low price.

Although I am happy with the help it has given to my animals I am not happy with the length of time to get this product and looking to reorder the price has gone up 2.00 in a month.
