Bosvision Combination Padlock for Gym Locker and Escape Room, Code Padlock, 7.8mm shackle

Needed a lock for the gym, I needed to be able to see the numbers and wanted it to stand out on the rows of bland lockers so I could find the right one. Thanks to Amazon I was able to find this , exactly what I wanted and for a fair price. Seems well made and is a good size, the large plastic numbers are easy to see and rotate well. What I don't understand and this is not exclusive to Amazon are some of the odd reviews. Why are all these people complaining about the difficulty in setting ones own code. Taking it out of the packet and without even looking at the instructions it was obvious. There is a screw on the side which as a position marked reset (there is the clue). You take a small screwdriver , push and turn to "reset", set the wheels to your own code and then turn the screw back to the original position. It could not be easier, a nice easy to use lock.

Having read the reviews on this product I decided to purchase one for myself as I was fed up of purchasing locks that brought no value for money. Having received the product and using it myself I can confidently say that this is defiantly a step above the rest, by far the best padlock I have ever purchased. The colour combinations and large numbers make it very easy to locate your chosen combination of which is very easy to set. This lock is durable and is constructed very well, I will be making a second purchase for my partner very soon.

This is a well made combo lock..thin shank and large easy to turn tumblers..if you follow the instructions you will be fine..make sure you have the correct lock as instructions included two other locks..read.confirm and set you lock..you need a very small screwdriver to turn the reset screw which is a bit of a pain as it's. So small.. All in all this is a well built lock that is easy to set and strong...I have it outside so I put a squirter of all in to shaft and I put the lock in a small plastic bag with an elastic band to secure...sounds a bit over the top but this will extend the life of any out door lock...I have 3 of these and would recommend them for protecting mid range situations...if you locking gold away get a bigger lock..lol...don't by cheap copy of this lock..

I need my glasses now to eat my dinner so it was great to be able to read the large numbers. We do not use the back gate during the winter much so I had to remember where to move the numbers to , but after one try that was OK. My husband and I had a bit of a problem at first setting up the code, that problem was solved when I read the advice notes carefully. I think that I may need to add some WD40 just to make sure that it does not stick during next winter, the above are why I have only given the item a 4, I would however buy the item again - I think my sister needs one ] A follow up it did not last a winter... so sad. but I can still read the numbers - its just that the lock does not

Have it on feed bin door as someone was taking our horse feed. Good sturdy easy to use lock especially good this winter as easy to see with the big numbers in the dark. Put on some car oil in hinges during first week of use as it was a bit sticky. Worked really well ever since and one no more haylage going missing.

A really good, sturdy padlock for a boys school locker. Stands out nicely, so make sure you put a decent password on it if this is your use! It was a bit tricky getting the reset button to turn, you do have to puch it a long way in, but once I sussed this it was easy to change the code. And at keast he wont lose the keys!!

Nice lock, until after 9 months it refuses to move the combination in any direction! I note others have the same problem. Used it on my outside shed - maybe it doesn't like the cold? What a pity - big combination numbers and not a fiddle to operate. Would pay double if it worked. Got to buy a replacement - will try something else. This could be expensive if they all need constantly replacement.

I have no idea how pick-proof is this lock (especially seeing a notch on the dial wheel). At least it can withstand shimming attack (the one when you slide piece of tincan metal to move the lock pin, the lock doesn't allow shackle to be locked without a proper code dialed). The metal looks and feels durable enough for low security usage (dial disks are made from plastic, just in case) This is my new favorite gym lock.
