Bought as an alternative to an advent calendar for the lead up to Christmas. The chocolates are really quite impressive to look at and they did a good job inspiring some Christmas cheer. The recipient insisted that I try a few myself and they were, indeed, very tasty and rich (without being too much so). While they may seem a little pricey, I would say that unless you have an extreme sweet-tooth, you would probably find it difficult to eat too many in one go. So, they should last you a little while if that's what you're hoping for. All in all, I would say that they are well worth the money if you're looking for something a little bit special and unlike what you might typically find on the high street. We're quite keen to try some of their other selections in the future.

A wonderful mix of flavours and textures. The christmas box assortment is very pretty and reminds me of the very expensive chocolates that were sold at Lyons Corner House in London in the 50's and 60's I have also had their truffle advent calendar (last year) and a ballotin of their assortment which was also sublime. I can't say that they are cheap but I think for the quality, the price is excellent.

Each individual chocolate is a work of art with exceptionally high quality. The ones I tried were also absolutely delicious too, with some great flavours that are well balanced, have great textures and can really take you by surprise. The fact I still get comments about this box of chocolates months after Christmas just shows what a memorable gift it is. (Of course if you just want to buy a box to much by yourself then you absolutely should)

These chocolates really give an air of decadence. They are so beautifully decorated and really chunky. The chocolate smells and tastes of quality. Unfortunately I found the flavours rather boring with little variety, just slightly different combinations of very sweet chocolate cream. I very much enjoyed the one fruit ganash and would have loved a few more like that, a salted caramel or an alcoholic flavour wouldn't have gave gone a miss either. Overall a nice product and I'm certainly not opposed to trying other products in their range.

These chocolates are right up there as my number one. But I see they no longer are in business. I was so disappointed and wonder what went wrong that they have stopped trading.

I don't eat much chocolate but when i do my usual favourites are either galaxy or thorntons. These, however, are absolutely amazing. I was surprised at the size of them as they are very big. I brought a box for my family and a box for my work colleagues but I am going to buy another box for ourselves for Christmas now. They are quite expensive but in my opinion they are worth the money.

Bought these as a wee stocking filler for my partner. Definitely had that hand made look. Santa looked like he'd had an industrial accident but still very cute. Most importantly my partner reports that they taste delicious. If I was being bold I might argue that she's not particularly fussy when it comes to chocolate but lovely selection.
