Expensive, sure, but easily the best sanding block I’ve used. Others tend to slip about or leave the finish a bit uneven, but this one gives you much more control. It grips the paper well and feels solid in the hand, which makes a big difference if you’re doing anything beyond a quick touch-up. Surprisingly comfortable to use too, even with a bit of weight to it. The rubber gives just enough grip without feeling awkward, and it stays put during use. I’d happily buy another if I ever needed to, though I doubt I will any time soon given how solid it feels. Not the fault of Amazon, but didn't end up being delivered on time so ended up buying one from B&Q (and paying more).

I was pleasantly surprised with this sanding block , seem well made and quite a substantial block which I can see will stand the test of time. this is what I needed to sand down the coving before painting, seems easy to use and a quality product

Heavy rubber material to help make sanding easy and comfortable. Need to be careful when inserting sand paper because the nails the sandpaper locks into are really sharp. My only gripe is how expensive this is for chunk of rubber, guess your paying for the brand. Thanks

I like simplicity. This sanding block ticks this box. And not only that as at the same time it keeps the sanding paper fixed, and prived a good grip. Strangely its mass is helping also, and gives a sturdy, reliable feeling during the work.

Nice quality sanding block that is a little heavy but that helps make it durable and effective, especially when working with coarse sandpaper. I like the way it grips the paper. Simple and effective.

This is a simple but great bit of kit. When you need to sand by hand get this sanding block and save a tonne of pain and blisters. I was surprised how heavy this was but it makes hand sanding so much easier.

It’s a big old dense piece of rubber! I didn’t expect this to feel quite as substantial as it actually is, if you’ve got some heaving sanding to do by hand then this product is absolutely the product you need. It grips the paper with 3 spikes at each end, be aware this are very sharp, you want to avoid catching your fingers on them when inserting the paper because you’ve probably going to end up with blood on your hands! The same applies after the paper has been located, don’t let do of the top part until your fingers are out of the way, otherwise you’re going to get even more blood on your hands! It feels really nice in your hands, I’ve got quite large hands and this is really ergonomic for me, and with the weight you can really power through whatever you’re sanding.

I like this product for sanding. it would be nice to have a design that used more of each strip of sandpaper. About half of the strip as lost as it is being used as part of the securing mechanism.

This solidly made hard rubber product should last for a very long time. An unexpected benefit is that the heavier weight makes it easier to use because I find it works beautifully without me having to use a lot of pressure. I’m currently using it with 80 grit on raw stock, and it works great!
