Can this set be used to connect reel to tap?

Hello. Not directly as it contains fittings that you do not need and which would be unsuitable for connecting the hose reel to the tap. Does it stop the back flow from a pressure washer?

No - a water stop (red) connector isn't the same as a (search amazon for) "Hozelock Non Return Outdoor Tap Connector". Whether you need one of these as being necessary is another question. In practice they're rarely used. Non-return valves stop small amounts of (generally non-toxic) contaminants in your hose getting into the household water supply - especially when using a pressure washer. Just running the connected tap and the one nearest to it for a few seconds should flush the plumbing.

Can anyone help my grandson was playing with my garden hose and has lost the part that I need to fit onto a gun or spray I’m not sureif this will do

I use a Hozelock hose and also have another type of hosepipe. I recently bought a Hozelock Watering Set From their site on Amazon, it contains different parts to use for different uses, spray guns, sprinkler, etc. On the back of the packaging it explains what each item is for, the fittings are universal and so these items fit both my hoses and taps. I would suggest looking at the Hozelock site where you should be able to find a suitable replacement for your hose. Good luck, I do hope this helps

I need a connector that will turn the water off at the top when I don't have my water spray gun pressed. Will one of these enable that?

Hello. None of our fittings will turn the water off actually at the tap. All of our spray guns have a facility to turn the water flow off internally though. The red and yellow connector shown will shut off the water when the spray gun or nozzle is removed but as mentioned none of them will actually turn water off at the tap end. I hope this helps

Everything you need to start using your hosepipe!

A well-priced starter kit for the Hozelock system. Comes with the tap connector, a normal connector and an aqua-stop connector for the “spray” end of the hosepipe. Also has a spray attachment. As usual, the Hozelock stuff feels sturdy and of good quality. It is all easy to use, literally click into place and I have found that as long as you treat them well and store them inside over winter they will work great with no leaks for years. Obviously this is something that you would only buy if you had a new hose or needed to replace all of the old stuff, but if that’s your issue then would definitely recommend this little kit.

These will only fit Hozelock hoses. But I will tell you that I've had this hose and casing for about ten years or more and it is a great product. Once in a while I have to change one of these connectors because of wear and tear but this hose is well worth it.
