Expedition Field Mini Women's 26 mm Watch

I was looking for a watch to take on a riding safari. This watch seems to be exactly what I was hoping for: -Small enough for a slim female wrist -Green /khaki colouring -Waterproof -Analogue -Luminous hands (plus backlit screen at the touch of a button) -Not so insanely expensive that I’m going to worry about it all holiday I’m going to an area with patchy electricity so realised I would need to leave my usual Apple Watch behind, and go back to a low-fi model for this trip. It needs to be rugged too - and work with a “1923” style vintage safari look! First impressions: Light, easy and comfortable on the wrist. The colours are great. It feels really well made. There are plenty of holes in the wristband. I also appreciate having the two leather keepers - if you have a slim wrist, you don’t need to have the loose end flapping around, which can be so annoying otherwise. The backlight is very easy to use - just push on the side button and the screen lights up for as long as you keep pressing. Impressively thoughtful design for something so small. It’s like they read my mind! It was slightly more expensive than I had hoped for, but I’ve ended up with something much nicer than planned. Mainly, I’m just relieved to have found a decent, practical watch which is up to the job I need it for, and noter stylish too. Too many ladies’ watches are just - way too girly. And the military-style men’s ones are all too big for me. Whereas this little watch is: pretty much perfect! Thank you, Timex!

I am so pleased with my new watch. I have had a timex indiglow for 20+ years. This ladies watch is neat, looks good and the dial is clear and so readable. Size is perfect not too heavy. Impressed with the strap which is very comfortable and adapts well to a slim wrist

Love this watch. I’m onto my third. Tbh, I think the last one only needed a new battery but I can’t get one during lockdown. Comfy, tough, clear, excellent value for money. The last two survived years and years of gardening, long dog walks and other mucky outdoor pursuits before the straps went. They’re great if you value function and simplicity and don’t want a “girly” watch but have a smaller wrist and no wish for a chunky bloke watch either. Perfect.

This makes a superb children’s watch. It’s easy to read, a really nice size for small wrists, waterproof, well made and robust. My daughter is nine and has had hers for a year with no issues. She likes it so much (particularly the night time illumination feature) that it barely leaves her wrist! Recommended.

I would have given this five stars but the watch face is just a bit too small. Not all women have dainty wrists.

This is about my fourth timex waterproof watch over the past 20 years or so. This is my second expedition mini field, the previous one wore out. I wear it all the time, office, socialising, kayaking, shower, walking, surfing etc. Very robust. Like the little light - useful to see the watch when camping. They take a fair battering and keep going. Its small enough and ordinary enough to wear at all times so I dont have to change it for different situations.

Just what I was looking for an everyday watch with no fancy gadgetry. It's got a bright face. I love the numbers. Don't have to worry about dates going wrong. The strap is lovely leather and a nice width. Good length for various sized wrists. It also has the light to use when in the dark. Got at great price too. Recommended.

Bought this watch because 1. it is a Timex 2. Because of other complimentary recommendations 3. It passes the farm test. My wife has inherited some land and has been diligently working out on the land making improvements for several hours a day. When I saw that she was constantly looking at her phone for the time I decided to get her a watch that she could wear comfortably, read the dial with straining her vision, and had a way of lighting up the dial in the dark. This watch is small but very comfortable on her wrist so much that she does not realize that she is wearing it. The leather band does not bother her at all over leather gloves she wears while working on the land. This was a birthday gift and she is very happy now that she doesn't have to bring out her phone to find out what time it is...+++it's a Timex!

Kleine Damen Armbanduhr, wirkt auf dem Bild größer, Optik wie gewünscht, Zusatzfunktion: beim Drücken des Rädchens kann man auch abends die Uhrzeit ablesen...bin sehr zufrieden! Auch für die Menschen geeignet, die nicht permanent auf ihr Smartphone starren😉😂

Prodotto di ottima fattura, TIMEX è una garanzia. Il quadrante è molto piccolo, 28 mm di diametro, consiglio di fare una prova con una moneta da 20 cent per farsi un 'idea e non rimanere disorientati se siete abituati a quadranti più "normali". Di conseguenza anche il cinturino è un laccio emostatico. Spedizione Amazon pessima, arrivato con una settimana di ritardo, per 4 giorni il pacco ha fatto avanti e indietro tra due magazzini e a metà strada c'era l'indirizzo di consegna!!!

I didn't take a star off like I almost did, because the watch itself is really good. Unfortunately, they sold me a used or returned watch and called it new. The main issue with that is when it's actually new, you need to remove a plastic tab to make battery start up. They do that because it extends battery life. This watch was next to the plastic holder in the box, not on it, rattling around the box with watch already running. So I'll need a battery much sooner, and I hope it's not damaged from the watch being loose in its box. I might keep it, or I might get my money back and buy it directly from timex website instead of Amazon. Amazon's price is way better, but then, it's not really new, so 🤮. I hope whoever had it first wasn't dirty or otherwise gross. The watch itself is nice. I was afraid it would look huge and manly, but it's not at all that way. Mine has dark brown leather and the black fabric strip in middle of strap part. The face is just big enough to read really easily. It definitely doesn't look manly at all. I love how it looks. The strap is nice, but in warm weather, my wrists and hands have a tendency to swell in heat, so I have to adjust the fit more often. Not a deal breaker, of course. But it's very comfy. I can wear it all the time (will take off to shower or swim), including wearing it to bed. I take meds, sometimes over night. I need to know the time, so I stay on schedule, and I don't want to turn on a bright light. The indiglo (I think that's the name) is great. Just enough light to see what I need to, clearly, but not blindingly bright. I also like how durable it's supposed to be. From now on, I'm sticking with timex for the durability, quality, and features. I'm replacing a very basic, cheapo casio. It was fine. Probably would have kept, but it didn't light up at all, and I discovered that was a very important feature for me. So, I wish they would give buyers the choice to buy used if wanted, and save brand new, not-worn or used, items for those who want and pay for new. TL/DR: was used or returned and had battery already running. A really nice watch with good features. Easy to read, and the light up feature is awesome. Great watch overall. If ordering it, you might want to let them know, if it's important to you, you don't want it to be used. Other than that one issue I love the watch and recommend it
