Olba B.V. Plastic Drinking Bottle with Hinged Lid, 1 Litre

Love this item as its a much cleaner way to provide water to my small flock of bantam chickens, and chicks can use it too. I've purchased multiple after being impressed. You can screw in the tap from the outside so no problems if you have big hands as you don't need to try to get your hand in there. It is a fairly sturdy item and easy to clean. My chickens love it. Some much prefer it over their regular water cups.

I haven't left an amazon review in a while, but this one really deserved praise. I've raised chicks on a hobby basis in the past and relied on bowls of water with marbles which easily become dirty leaving the water undrinkable. It is very labour intensive. Just over a fortnight ago I started a batch of 2/3 day olds. I have been changing the water and cleaning the water 4 times a day! I started looking for modern alternatives and was delighted to see this. The chicks took to it instantly and it requires filling up every 3 days. No maintenance. Absolutely fantastic. I'm so delighted i've ordered a second and started a second batch of 15. Revolutionary! No more cleaning out poop encrusted bowls!

Nice System even if it can take some time for the chicks to understand how it works. However the way it holds into the cage is really difficult.

Taught my chicks to use this from day one. Caught on quickly after I spent an hour pointing to it and clucking like a mother hen. Keeps water clean and sterile-no mess gets in. Added bonus it that it’s a good once they are older-means no open water in the run for rodents- as open ground level water sources attracts them. Liked it so much I bought three.

Good idea but found it difficult to stay on the wire. Leaks a lot but My hands are not too good so not had the strength to bend the wire clip onto the bars. Kept tilting to one side.

I bought this drinking bottle for my indoor quail cage. It's real easy to clip on the cage and take off, I added a cable tie to make it more secure, but it works well. It doesn't drip like other types of drinking bottles. The quail learned how to use it very quickly. It's easy to clean, and because it's on the outside of the cage it's easy to fill up.

Good drinker, works well. I have it elevated on a wooden block. Chicks learn to use it quickly.

I honestly can't fault these. Mine don't leak. They are so much cleaner than the standard ground water drinkers. I fill up twice a day though. I was worried my chickens wouldn't know how to use them but they figured it out no problem. I have 2 chickens housed together and it needs filled twice dailly so if you have a few chickens you will need more. I tied mine on with zip ties and the metal hangers weren't suitable for my run.
