We received my lift on on November 26th instead of December 1st. The only issue we had was the connection to my truck. My son and husband retired it. They provided a connection to go to my motor battery but it wasn't long enough. Also, before you purchase make sure the connections fit or find someone that can fix that issue. Other than that I am very pleased with the product.

This has allowed me to be more active. However, at first everything was nice and tight and nothing moved when I was driving. Because they used grease, without using grease seals, all of the grease has been pushed out of the bottom of the outside tube and the platform is free to move quite a lot. Either use seals to keep the grease in place or tighten the tolerances and use oil. Also, the switch does not appear to actually be waterproof as when I turn it on when it is raining, it tries to move up. I have to turn the key off before releasing the down switch to prevent it from going up again. This is not an issue when it is not raining, but I live in the Pacific Northwest, where we are known for the rain.

Horrible seller, dysfunctional product. Two of the 4 pulleys on the platform do not function. The other 2 pulleys are also beginning to disfunction. The motor now will not let the platform stay in the lowered position. As soon as it touches the ground it goes right back up. I am unable to safely transport and use a $1300 piece of equipment after only having had it for one month.

I asked if the license plate was fully visible when the lift was folded up. They said it was but only the top half is. I could get a ticket when I do not have the scooter loaded. It does not tell you how high the hitch can be off the ground. I have a 2025 Ram 1500 and the carrier when down to be loaded or unloaded is 1-1/2 to 2 inches off the ground. I can still ride the scooter on the carrier but it is not as safe as it could be. The instructions are okay but if doing it yourself it is better to put the motor on and lower it to the platform.

I have advancing arthritis all over and I really wanted to be able to take my scooter/rack any place I want without having to ask for help from anyone. This carrier/lift is perfect! Electronic and so very easy to operate and seems very durable. I asked U-Haul and they installed the class II hitch to my Toyota Avalon and now I have freedom again! At 72 that' a biggie. Last trip was to Disneyland! Life is good and happy again. Deep thanks to all who made this possible for you and me!

I don't leave reviews often if ever but I am bc the other reviews do not match my experience. My sister is a dbl amputee and my 73 year old mom would put my sisters wheel chair in her SUV every time they left home. We got an motorized wheelchair for my sister and then this lift. It makes my mom's and sister's life so much easier. My mom is easily able to use the lift and secure the wheelchair. My mom's suv did not have a hitch so I purchased one from Uhaul and Uhaul connected the hitch, wheelchair lift and wires. Uhaul (and only Uhaul from my experience) said they would install the wheelchair lift and wires with or without hitch purchase. The wiring would've been simple enough and it does need to connect to the battery but it made more sense to let someone do it that does it daily. I don't recall instructions on how to secure with the straps but my mom was able to figure it out and she's the type to just within 30 seconds if it isn't straight forward enough. This is pricey but it has been the best purchase for our family

It was a fairly straightforward install. If you have mechanical ability you should have no problem. I did all the work myself, but would recommend having a helper. The lift quality is good, the electric motor seemed a bit slow, but it definitely gets the job done. I know that we saved a few thousand dollars over buying one local and paying to have it installed. One extra note to keep in mind: these things are generally a universal fit, but be prepared to possibly re-drill a hole or two to make it level when it comes into contact with the ground. I would definitely recommend this as an affordable alternative to paying to have one installed.
