Great bit of kit, decent water capacity and works well

Been using for a month. Not one fault with this product so far, like some of the reviews. Possibly might fail at 6months, but who knows? I’ll update accordingly. Puts out a large amount of mist, even when turned to lowest setting, so will cover a large area. Good value for money, when considered humidifiers of this size are easily £50-70. One tip is not to use tap water. Tap water has too many minerals and can cause scale build up in the humidifier that will stop it from working. Use DEIONISED water in the humidifier - can get cheap from Halfords for £3.90/5L.

In less than 2 months of owning this humidifier it suddenly stopped operating. I replaced the 13A fuse in the plug in case that was blown but it would seem that, just like with so many other buyers, the experience with this machine is just a big, expensive disappointment. When this humidifier worked it was actually great. As with everything I own, I babied it, kept it spotless and I only ever ran R.O. water through it and it always stayed perfectly clean in the working parts. To be fair, I did see the multitude of other reviews warning against exactly this outcome, but I figured I might get lucky with mine. Unfortunately I’m now the proud owner of £40.00 worth of plastic. I would never ordinarily make a negative comment about a product but … this is quite a lot of money to lose so I would urge you to seriously consider very carefully whether your £40.00 is worth gambling on this humidifier or whether you should maybe look at better alternatives.

So it works well giving a good spread for plants as mentioned in other reviews has a green light.. I taped it up no issues thus far. My only downside is mine is running 24/7 on humidity control and the mould becomes an issue inside. Unable to clean the inside of the water tank. Other than that daily filling with 2 months use good so far.

Wish it had actual click settings on the dial but a great humidifier. Next to no noise no scent great compact design and value for money just remember to clean the novel when re filling but over all a great 5litre humidifier that lasts around 24 hours for me on the lowest setting.

I use this in a 4' x 4' grow tent. It maintains a humidity of 65% at only one quarter of the full setting on the knob. I have the discharge nozzle set to point directly in front of a small monkey fan which disperses the mist. I use rainwater, which I pass through a BRITA filter. Rainwater does not have the damaging hard water minerals that the tap water has in my area. The instructions need to be followed carefully after removing the reservoir tank for refilling. The water remaining in the base unit needs to be tipped out into a basin before replacing the tank, otherwise you will end up with too much water in the base, which could cause damage. Overall I'm happy with this inexpensive little humidifier.
