Nuvantee Cocktail Shaker

Although I'm more a beer and whiskey man, a while ago I got introduced to Dirty Martini's. So I gradually got the few ingredients and a nice cocktail glass. Assumed just pouring the various ingredients together would get me there. But its missing that icy chill and just adding an ice cube just dilutes the drink. While I thought that shacking cocktails was just a Tom Cruise gimmick from the 1980's, a little research taught me that a shaker actually blends the cocktail ingredients in a more effective manner and that it ensures the drink gets a below zero temperature. A few comparisons on Amazon and review checks further I ended up with this set, deliberately not the cheapest nor the most expensieve one. And I must say I'm very pleased after my first few homemade dirty martini's. The set arrived in a neat box. There is a measurement cup. And comes accompanied with a cocktail recopy book and instruction leaflet (although its pretty obvious how to use it). It's made of shiny stainless steel and there is a little brand inscription on the rim, that could have been left out in my view. But otherwise it works very well and is very sturdy. So far I managed to clean it in the dish washer without issues, Importantly, with a fairly friendly priced shaker such as this one; it doesn't leak from neither the top or side when shaking - which some of the cheapest sets apparently do. So it's a good quality cocktail shaker that I recommend..!

The Item looks great quality good construction that looks like it will last. Nice cocktail recipes and some tips on different things to stock in your bar. I have made a few cocktails now and I can say no leaks etc. just nice cold cocktail's and a happy wife.

Had to return this, because lid didn't fit the cup. Tired it every way possible, but the diameter of the cup and lid were exactly the same. Other users are reporting the same issue, so I don't understand how they keep producing this faulty item. The jigger looked great and was one of the factors that made me order this, and indeed it is a good jigger, but since I had to return the shaker, I had to return everything. UPDATE: Innovee contacted me and offered to correct the problem. I have now received my replacement shaker, which FITS!, and am very happy with it. Great costumer service from this company, very helpful along all the replacement process. As for the shaker, as I said on my previous review, it is very well made, and the jigger also. Very happy with the product.

Purchased to replace my broken glass shaker. Liked pic online, and that no glass meant it won't get broken - even after a few cocktails!! Shaker arrived quickly and looked great and works well. The two parts of shaker fit together easily, yet tightly and no liquid leaked. Great product.

Good quality product. The shaker top is easy to put on and take off and doesn't leak; an issue with others I've tried. The measure cups look pretty funky too. Also didn't need all of the bits and bobs included with other products. This was perfect.

Firstly, it arrived promptly and looked great. It's certainly very sturdy and I'm sure would last a long time. However, I found that it leaked when I shook it - not so much to drench all my guests, but enough so that I had a wet hand from holding it. It leaked from the top pourer cover and from the join between the main base and the top (despite pushing down hard to secure it and holding it all together when shaking). I also found the edge of the top and the main base unit to be very sharp - so much so that I managed to slice my hand twice while trying to clean it. So whilst it looks great and is really sturdy, I'm sending mine back... which I'm genuinely disappointed to have to do. EDIT: Having posted this review I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a message from the seller. They've been really helpful and offered to replace the Shaker for me. I suspect I may have been unlucky with the item I received, but I'll stick with giving that a 2* for now, but I've upp'd my review to a 3* for the customer service!

As expected

A good quality shaker, both the shaker and the jigger are made of good quality material and both look the part also. Only criticism would be that the lid is both the most secure and can come off when shaking if your hand is not on the top of it. It does not, however, leak. All in all good quality for the price!

Io non so se dove ho bevuto i miei margarita finora, e che mi piacevano tanto, non erano capaci di farne uno decente o questo set è davvero perfetto. So solo che da quando il margarita lo faccio da me con questo shaker mi piace molto di più. Il misurino incluso nella confezione (jigger) ha 2 misure: 1 oncia (30 ml circa) e mezza oncia (15 ml circa) ed è grazie a questo che riesco a dosare perfettamente gli ingredienti per i miei cocktail. Lo lavo in lavastoviglie senza problemi e non da segni di usura, l'acciaio è perfetto e rimane tale. Se siete appassionati o volete semplicemente fare i vostri cocktail a casa anche stupendo i vostri amici vi consiglio questo articolo.

Un très beau desing, simple mais très bien fini, je ne regrette pas cet achat qui fait suite à un première commande (plus chère) qui ne m'a jamais été livrée !! Parfait pour un cadeau car l'emballage est soignée, un petit livre de recettes est inséré dans la boite , c'est sympa. Très ergonomique et sans fuite à nous les cocktails et les cafés et thés glacés ... passe au lave vaisselle !! Si je n'ai qu'un conseil à donner, ne pas chercher à payer plus cher un produit de qualité !!

Versand und Lieferung waren kein Problem. Manchmal geht bei Gebrauch, vor allem wenn Eis im Spiel ist, der Deckel schwerer ab, jedoch ist es bei mir noch lange nicht so schlimm wie bei manch anderen Rezensionen. Er erfüllt seinen Zweck, jedoch ist er nur für private Cocktailabende geeignet. Dadurch, dass der Deckel teilweise etwas schwerer zu öffnen ist und die schnelle Reinigung durch die vielen Einzelteile länger dauert, wenn man zum Beispiel den Cocktail wechseln möchte (der Shaker muss in diesem Fall natürlich gereinigt werden, um den Geschmack des neuen Cocktails nicht zu verfälschen), dauert die Cocktailproduktion fast doppelt so lange wie in einer Bar. Trotzdem ein super Gadget für jeden Cocktailfan.
