Iwatani Takoyaki Grill Pan, Medium, Black

Amazing pan, works perfect with the Iwatani cassette Fu master Slim CB-AS-1 hob. It has notches on the pan to stop it slipping off. While it seems small you can make a decent amount at a time & it perfectly fits the burner so the heat distribution is great so they all cooked evenly in all the wells. Made a batch of takoyaki & they came out perfect the pan is non stick so they just twirled about in there with the minimal of ease. Made cooking them a simple and stress free process, a joy to cook in.

Very heavyweight and sturdy. I love this thing - one of the best kitchen purchases I have ever made. Now I can create professional restaurant quality takoyaki's in my own home. Easy to wash and easy to use - can't fault this item one bit - I love it!

While I have never used a takiyaki grill pan before (only ever seeing them used online), this one performed exactly as I had hoped. It fits securely onto my gas hob (and looking at the product it will most likely fit on a range of different hobs) and works brilliantly. The only minor issue I had (and this is down to my hob not being big enough) was that it didn't heat evenly. I got around this by turning the pan a few times whilst cooking. I would highly recommend for beginners (like me).

Good quality of the product, easy to use....but poor in delivery, this item have been ordered 2 times and finally I got it...after keep contacting with the customer service to complain about the delivery.

This Takoyaki grill pan is great! I can now make takoyaki at home whenever I’m craving it. The medium size fits perfectly on my gas hob and sits securely without wobbling. It heats evenly, and the pan itself feels high quality and well made. Another plus, it’s easy to clean. One thing to note: it doesn’t heat completely evenly. The centre heats up faster than the corners. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind. If you love takoyaki and want to enjoy it fresh at home, this pan is a solid choice.

Great little pan. it heats up quickly, non stick therefore very east to clean. I am very happy. My Japanese friend like it more than her cast iron one! The grid around the balls it s a great feature also. Makes it really easy to cut them while cooking the Takoyaki.

Took a punt on this and thought I’d get a flimsy, thin ali thing that fell apart or bent but nope, it’s brilliant -

Arrived yesterday and i was very keen to put to test. Loving my new kitchen gadet and very pleased! Very easy to use, easy to clean and feels strong and sturdy. Robust material, not thin and flimsy. Conduct heat well and evenly, non stick, makes turning takoyaki with ease and gives a wonderful round shape and even golden colour to takoyaki. Sits perfectly onto stove. Very happy with purchase, makes decent size takoyaki. Plan to make Dutch pancakes and looking forward to experimenting more savory and sweet dishes. Highly recommend.
