Kilner 1 Litre Glass Barrel Drinks Dispenser

The packaging is nice if your buying this as a gift. Very sturdy and heavy. The only thing I noticed is that the little stainless steel cup that covers the hole in the top just sits on it, so if it tips over that will come straight off and the alcohol will come out... I wish there was another seal for the top opening... I have purchased this as a gift for my father to put his whisky in so I hope that is not a problem for him. Anyway for he price it is good!

I decided to get this after paying £45 for a rubbish optic from Etsy. Read the reviews and everyone says there's leaked, not waterproof ect. I took mine straight out of the box and washed it out. It's held a bottle of whiskey in it with no leaks whatsoever. Sturdy, decent quality and a steady stream when pouring from the tap. Definitely worth the money.

This is the second one of these that I have bought. Kilner produces quality glass storage solutions. I use these to store fruit juice in the fridge where my favourite juice stays cold - until I need to refill it! Every works well, no drips, no leaks. I don't use the wooden frame as it takes up too much space. Any regrets? Nice solid barrel, stand is a little flimsy but does stay put. Tap is plastic which is the biggest disappointment, I feel like it's going to come away when turning. I do like the little measuring cup/ lid

So far so good! It arrived very quickly on standard delivery and very well wrapped, as per photos. The barrel is sturdy and I can’t wait for my dad to try it (we’re yet to see if the rap works) but so far I’m very impressed. It comes in a gift box and I can’t wait to give it to him as a Christmas present. I very much like it already! I’ve included a photo of a pint glass next to it so people can get an idea of how tall it is. It looks very cute.

Bought as an Xmas gift for a Whiskey connoisseur. He loves it. Holds a litre of Whiskey. Very sturdy. Great gift for the money.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend to go with his whiskey, it is a fantastic gift and looks so well made! However, I was a little disappointed to find the box a bit ripped and tattered, as it is a gift, I wanted it to look brand new. Plus, all of the items in the box weren't in their place and just thrown around the box when I opened it. However, a fab gift for anyone!

Received the barrel 2 hours ago and after reading some of the previous reviews that stated they had lost their beloved drinks I gave it a good look over!!! Yes the tap was loose so make sure you do what I did and tighten the tap, I gave it 2 full turns which did the job brilliant, the plastic nut inside the barrel stayed solid when turning the tap but on the second turn I reversed slightly as it was getting tight before getting the tap into the right position, reversing moved the inner nut along with the tap so it didn't take long to get the right tension. I like the way you use the measure as the stopper as it stops you losing it or putting it somewhere you can't remember. I will be buying another two of these with no worries!!!!!!

J'avais lu les commentaires dont je m'attendais a avoir de la casse, donc j'en ai commandé 2 pour maximiser mes chances. Je n'ai pas été déçus, sur un article le bouchon complètement explosé, sur le second article le bouchon intact mais le tonneau en verre complètement foutu. J'ai donc pu en combinant les deux avoir un article intact sur les deux. Mais sincèrement quand on voit la gestion du transport, tout d'abord les deux boites se baladaient dans une grande boite amazon sans aucun support pour les retenir, du polystyrène ? lol ca coute trop cher apparemment d'en mettre. Aucune indication sur la boite que c'est fragile. Et si on regarde les boites en elle meme, a part une qui etait emballer vite fait avec du scotch, la seconde etait quasiement pas protéger, sincerement c'est de la malfacon ou de l'incompétence à ce niveau la. Donc meme si j'ai réussit à avoir un article sur les deux en les combinants, vu le foutage de gueule quand aux protections je ne recommande pas cette article.

ottimo per aperitivi con amici. Il rubinetto funziona bene. L'unica cosa è che l'alzatina di legno è troppo bassa per poter inserire un bicchiere sotto al rubinetto, bisogna usare un un appoggio più alto. Nel complesso è davvero carino ed utilissimo.
