Miracle-Gro 19005 All Purpose Enriched Compost 50L

I got this for my plant pots outdoors, I'm a little late for my repotting and have missed out on spring flower planting but have some summer plugs coming so needed a good compost for that as the plugs will have only a short time to set in. This comes in a sack with loose compost inside, not compacted like a lot of larger bags. This makes it much easier to use as you don't need to spend forever breaking it up - the compacted bags are great if you need to get them home from the shops but if you're getting it delivered then I prefer the loose sacks by far. I have one plant from last year that was in desperate need of repotting into a bigger pot, this worked brilliantly and was not so dry that it couldn't bind to the existing plant. It was easy to get out the exact amount needed as it wasn't jam packed. I've used Miracle Gro before and never had a problem with it, can't wait for this plant to have some room to grow as it's one of my favourites, a fire plant that is shooting up really fast. I find this stuff is good for plugs as well, even hanging baskets.

As a keen gardener I buy multi purpose compost from Amazon all year round as well as making my own. I have used Miracle Gro compost (and liquid/granular feeds) many times over the years so I know it gives a good result. It's delivered as seen - in a plastic sack - you definitely do get 50 Litres! Settling in transit may give the impression that there is less - but trust me - there's 50 Litres! Delving your hands into this and you can feel that it's good stuff. It's clean - has good structure to it - you can see the added granular nutrients that break down over the weeks to provide a feed for you plants - there is woody fibrous material that helps retain moisture levels in dry periods (so long as you water regularly) I have used it to fill containers and baskets and to pot on bigger seedlings of sunflowers and green beans. Note - I would not use this for sowing fine seeds and would rather use a finer seed sowing compost. As I 've used this many a time over the years I can highly recommend this one.

Another great product from Miracle Grow, wich is as always a pleasure to use and gives such splended results. Will most certainly recommend this product.

I have a garden at the front and back of the house and with summer coming i had bought my usual variety of plants to grow, basically different flowers and thus i needed compost to grow them, i usually buy from a shop downtown but last year the compost i bought from there must have had fly eggs in them because we had an infestation of Gnats within weeks of using the compost, i should add i keep my plants in the house until ready to plant in the garden, anyways that Gnat issue stopped me buying local and i decided to buy a different brand of compost from Amazon. The compost arrived quickly and i have been using it for a few weeks now, it's good stuff and is doing the job i bought it for, i actually ordered another bag because i needed more, very happy there is no insect eggs, just good quality compost, the plants seem to like it and i am looking forward to putting them into the garden when the weather gets warmer, it's a decent price when you take delivery into account and i'm happy with the purchase.

When I read the reviews AFTER I had made my purchase I thought oh no & I felt I wanted to cancel my order & then I thought hummm let me wait & see, but I've gotta say I've had a positive experience it arrived quick, packaged very well & was exactly as it showed, nice big bag & worth the money, my plants have blossomed in a week, it revived some of my other plants too, its the real deal peeps & worth every penny, I got happy thriving plants all over my home & window boxes. Would I buy again? Absolutely 💯 it really is Miracle Grow, Im so glad I didn't cancel my order & waited, it was well worth it! My Advice.....buy it, Im glad I did!

Can get it cheaper from a garden Center / supermarket but if you don’t want to carry it this is a great option. Seems to work well on plants.

I bought it last week , when I open I was very happy with the product. However, as you use it , you start to encounter big wood/ straw bits. Nevertheless, the compost is very effective. Around 9 out of 10 of my seeds germinated within a week. If you are thinking about buying it, bare in mind that 50 litres will be enough for acouple docents of germination trays and pots However, if you are planning to use it , to replace the soil in your garden I would advise you to buy two or a bigger one.
