Excellent fit. Follow online videos to assist in fitting
Great substitute for Beyer ear cups. They fitted my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro perfectly. Bit of a faff to fit but follow videos available online and warm gently with hairdryer to soften. Once on the (excellent) DT770 Pros feel like brand new.

Better than leather.
Absolutely love it. Way better than the default leather ones. Soft, comfy, still decent noise reduction, fits nicely and cool.

Restored my DT770 Pros perfectly.
Far better than playing the lottery involved with trying cheaper alternatives, these have taken my headphones back to an as-new condition. Relatively easy to fit, as comfy as they should be with the SQ unaffected, they're worth paying the higher price for the genuine item in my view.

Just do it!
These things are expensive for what they are, but they make your headphones feel like new again, in a way that washing your existing pads just doesn't. For that reason I recommend these as a worthwhile annual purchase if you use your headphones a lot. Mine get daily use, and with new pads in hand to compare, it's quite evident that the foam in the pads collapses by about 50% over a year. Washing does not bring this back, nor does it return the microfibre-like material to its former comfort level. I'm on my third set of replacement pads, and I'll very likely be buying again next year too - it's that new headphone feeling without the price tag! A hint for replacing pads is to pull and stretch the entire pad, not just the little bit of the edge you're trying to tuck in. That way you're putting it on almost flat instead of trying to tilt the rim up. Goes a lot easier.

So after far too long of having poor fit because of old pads I got these ones and the fit perfectly and my headphones feel brand new

Awkward To Fit..... But Worth It
Maybe I'm just more ham-fisted and awkward than the other reviewers here, but I found these frustratingly fiddly to fit and, I must admit, I almost gave up. I'm sure a child, or simply someone with a little more dexterity (and patience!) than I seem to possess, would have had them on in a couple of minutes, but it took me a while - with much cursing and swearing - to get there. Once on, they're excellent. When I put the headphones (DT 770s) on after finally getting the new pads fitted, I realised the original pads had collapsed more than I'd thought - it felt like putting on a brand new pair. Similarly, because it had happened gradually, I hadn't realised how badly the collapsed and clogged pads had affected the sound quality, as I noticed a considerable improvement immediately. It seems the new pads have restored the headphones to their original performance, therefore were well worth buying, and recommending. But if you're like me - knocking on a bit, fingers like sausages, and short-tempered - ask someone else to fit them for you!

Buy them once, benefit from them for years and years.
Why do I A...already own 4pairs of dt770 velour earpads AND B...why am I about to buy two MORE pairs? In an idle moment,I've just read all the reviews for these pads. I'm getting 2new pairs so I've got replacements for years to come. The trick,is to wash them in a bowl or pan after about 30-40hrs use (depending on how sweaty you are,and how humid the air is)as follows: a capfull of standard clothes wash goo! Twenty minutes sitting in very warm (NOT HOT) water...scrub them together and rinse 3-4times...leave on a coat hanger to air dry. While those are in the pan,fit a fresh pair...on your phones notebook, note the date of the replacement. All music, but esp.orchestral,is lifted instantly!!! It's transformed. Because your pads are crisp, clean, fresh. That's why I've got 3pairs and two more on the way. Years and years of benefit =these pads are NOTexpensive... You pay once...and you're repaid over and over Kevin

Just amazing
So yesterday my earpads broke and i bought these. I thought 20 pound thats better than buying the headset all over again. I watched a video on youtube of how to replace it and read the comments. Quick tip. Use a hair dryer to soften the edges of the pad ( the part that goes around to keep it in place) And then fold it up onto the actual ear pads themself. This makes it easier to attach it as you just need to fold it over instead of trying to hook it all the way around. Not sure if that was clear or not. Just either way. Super comfy and great value. Easy to replace also

As comfy as brand new. Not too hard to swap the pads, and much better than the fake leather pads.

Absolute Empfehlung!

I have a 5~ year old pair of Beyerdynamic DT-770 studio cans. Since I've bought them, I've gone through about four pairs of ear pads. A couple were some awful aftermarket ones that either fell apart over time (like leather), sounded like garbage, and/or were insanely difficult to install. I wanted the headphones like the way they were when I bought them, so I bought these brand-name original Beyerdynamic ear pads. They were shipped nicely, and to my surprise, this also included a replacement set of the black foam inserts as well. After replacing those as well as the pads, my headphones sound stellar again! The Beyerdynamics are just awesome for having absolute balanced clarity and sound, no crazy bass boost or anything. These replacement pads bring the headphones back to that level again, making them great for music production and headphone mixing. I highly recommend these. They're a little pricey, but totally worth it. I also found them very easy to install. Maybe cause I've done it a few times, and I've had aftermarket ones that were insanely hard to install. But I had no trouble getting them on, just takes a little bit of practice and patience. Last note - my original set of these got very funky and dirty over time. Despite trying to clean them, I had to toss them. I did a lot of vocal recording in them during one hot, sweaty summer. If you're gonna be doing anything like that, I would suggest a different set of headphones, maybe open-backed, breathable headphones. Save these for the comfy studio work and casual listening.
