Discover with Dr. Cool Break Open 2 Jumbo Geodes - These Large Rocks Have Crystals Inside!

Good size and good quality geodes. I have found this with all Dr Cool geode products. I have bought many now. I would recommend these.

A nice gift as its contents have not been seen by anyone, until cracked open.

Very good ,both had excellent crystals inside,grandson was totally amazed,but I would not have called them jumbo they fitted in palm of a five year old child

5 of my grandchildren aged 5 to 8 years have each enjoyed this activity and results. They have taken them into school for their tell and show.Initial interest in rocks and crystals progresses with the anticipation and fun. Adult supervision and goggles required. Adult strength might be needed to assist eventually on the hammer.....good involvement !

The box only contains 2 Geodes with no safety equipment such as gloves or goggles and no hammer or chisel to break them open not even any information about the Geodes themselves which was a little disappointing.The Geodes were a little smaller than expected, about the size of a small orange. They took some breaking requiring several heavy blows with the hammer before they would crack so I steadied the Geode ( while wearing thick gloves ) as my son hit it, The first split neatly into two halves while the other broke into several smaller pieces, inside they revealed interesting Quartz crystal formations which my son loved.These crystals are best broken outside and are intended for older children. I do think these are worth the money, they are a lot of fun trying to break into, which helped vent my sons destructive urges which are usually reserved for his toys, however adding the necessary tools to break them open along with some interesting background info would have made this a five star item.

one of the geodes was very very hard to get into and it was literally just a rock. the other wasn't much better. very disappointed children. a waste of money

The geodes are beautiful when you crack them open, but there not much bigger than a tennis ball, disappointed as I was expecting them to be “jumbo” Would have been nice to have two different colours

Got this for my son and I. First one broke like a charm with the hammer. Second one we could not get open. I beat it with a hammer, threw it on the driveway, etc and nothing. Contacted the seller and they shipped another one out immediately. A month later my brother finally got the original one open and it was full of crystal. Zero air space which is why we could not break it. Very pretty geodes and lots of fun. My son probably liked chucking the solid geode most of all.

C'est sympa, il a fallu que je donne un coup de main, il faut un vrai marteau et un vrai burin pour obtenir quelque chose de propre.2 garçons contents.

En nuestro caso las dos geodas salieron iguales, de color blanco. Muy chulo para los niños. Sí que cuestan un poco de abrir, pero con paciencia se abren bien.

Complessivamente questa versione di geodi del Dr. Cool mi ha deluso.Infatti i geodi non sono più grandi di una palla da tennis...al massimo avranno (forse) una dimensione paragonabile ad una palla da tennis...ma le altre due dimensioni sono inferiori.Inoltre nella confezione, diversamente dal kit del Dr.Cool che contiene 4 geodi più piccoli (ma non di molto), non è presente altro se non i due geodi....quindi niente sacca in tela..niente lente...niente depliants.A questo punto, avendo lo stesso prezzo (quando li ho comprati io) consiglio il kit dei 4 geodi.
