The instructions include text and illustrations. The text is well written and easy to understand. The illustrations are also very clear. I'm so happy I bought this kit! No regrets!

This kit contains loose paper and covers. It's nice paper, but it's not premium paper. It allows you to create notebooks, with 3 different types of binding. It is exactly as pictured. The directions are very clear, and it's quite easy to finish and gives the confidence that you can create your own notebooks afterwards.

I have been thinking about trying book binding but haven't really wanted to buy all the supplies to do it. This kit was absolutely perfect for those who are curious about the process. It gives you everything you need to make 3 styles. In the picture the journal picture does not come with the decorative covers. I added that after I finished with some scrap looking stuff I had. But other than the book was really easy to follow and set you up for a success. I would definitely recommend.

It was a gift for my wife. She hasn’t used it yet but she is excited and we are glad that it’s suitable for vegans :)

This kit comes with a guide, end papers, white A5 bond paper (thin, not sure but feels about 16lb), awl, needle, small wood ruler, very small piece of binding linen (4 1/2 inches), off brand glue stick, plastic bone folder, small skein embroidery floss. All told the supplies are pretty meager. The instruction book is the best part of the kit. The supplies felt lackluster and not worth the price.
