Jacquard Indigo Tie Dye Kit (Mini)

This kit is great! Includes all the info you need and enough dye for several items of clothing. Quite easy and fun to do. The dye results quickly get lighter if you leave it overnight so I recommend doing all your dyeing in one day if you can. Leave plenty of time for several dips. Be warned that this is addictive fun!

Good product which produces excellent results. There are clear instructions. I find working with Indigo works best on a warm day and work outside as the process requires the oxidisation, so a breezy day works best. Just be prepared for the shipping time, so therefore plan ahead ....once you've used the product you will probably always have a spare one in your creative textile store cupboard.

Fabulous product and very easy to use for great results. I've made three quilt tops using this indigo tie dye kit. Would highly recommend.

This stuff does just what it should. It dyes lovely deep indigo {after a few dips} doesn't have the chemical smells of man made and lasts a good few days. Easy to mix up and my Textiles A Level class have gone indigo dye mad! {they love the fact it comes out a weird green then turns the most gorgeous blue.} High recommend.

Extrem gutes Set. Die Farbe sieht wirklich aus wie Denim. Da ich die Shibori Technik angewendet habe, ist das Ergebnis phantastisch. Die Ergiebigkeit auch überragend. Ich habe 3 Sets Bettwäsche, 12 Kissen, 2 Bierbankbezüge und 10m Wimpelkette damit gefärbt und es war immer noch ausreichend Farbe vorhanden. Die Lieferzeit war auch schnell & unkompliziert. Keine Versand- oder Zollkosten

Dying with real indigo is a bit more work than cracking open a box of Rit, but the results are totally worth it. There really isn't another blue the comes close to the color of indigo! The kit comes with some interesting information about the history of indigo dying and different ways of using the dye, and a quick stop at Wikipedia will teach you a bit more if you're interested. I'd recommend making sure you stock up on gloves and buying some more rubber bands, as well as picking up a 5 gallon bucket with lid at your local hardware store. All of those things make the dying a bit less of a mess, but you'll probably end up with bluish hands at the end anyway. This is a great kit for starters, it comes with everything you need, it's very easy to use, and it will dye quite a lot of fabric. We even saved the dye and used it a week after, and while the results weren't as vibrant, they were lovely nonetheless.

Used the Dye for sheets.......then ripped them up to make bath mats........perfect product for this job!

Ho acquistato il kit alcuni anni fa ma solo ieri ho realizzato i miei primi lavori con indigo. Trovo il kit ottimo, basta seguire alcuni accorgimenti per non rischiare di rovinare la tinozza di indigo ed il risultato è assicurato. Consiglio questo prodotto se si vuole lavorare in piccola scala altrimenti conviene acquistare i singoli prodotti per quantità maggiori di tessuto da tingere. Consigliatissimo!

La couleur est intense, les instructions claires (si vous savez lire l'anglais), et la boite contient quelques consommables utiles pour votre activité shibori (élastiques, morceaux de bois, gants). Dans les vidéos, du tissu très léger est utilisé, et j'avais peur que du tissu dense (fibres assez serrées pour du rideau ou une nappe) n'absorbe pas bien la teinture, ou que les technique avec élastiques etc. n'aient pas le bon rendu. Mais en fait ça marche très bien.
