Polycell Multi Purpose Polyfilla - Ready Mixed 1KG

Good quality polyfilla. Flexible. Especially suitable for white walls, where it normally won't need painting over to match the wall. Very effective on filling small settlement cracks prior to repainting. Very effective for filling small areas of damage due to the dog scratching the wall to be let out! For accidental damage due to knocks, with stepladders etc, if more than just superficial, fill part of the hole in the plaster, only, to a depth of a quarter inch only, and let it dry, then repeat that. Extremely important to always keep the polyfiller in an airtight container! Maybe seal the tub inside a re-sealable transparent plastic freezer bag.

I’m definitely not a DIY expert, but this filler did the job really well. I used it to patch up a few small holes and cracks around the house, and it was pretty straightforward to use, there’s no mixing or messing about. It dries fairly quickly (within a couple of hours in my case), so you don’t have to wait around forever. Just make sure the lid is sealed tightly afterwards as I didn’t close it properly the first time and it started drying out at the edges. One thing I’d recommend is picking up a cheap plastic spreader if you don’t already have one. I used a random bit of plastic the first time and the finish was a bit rough. A proper spreader made it much easier to get a smoother result. All in all, I’m happy with it. Nothing fancy, but it does exactly what it needs to and if I can get decent results with it, pretty much anyone can.

This ready mixed Polycell Multi Purpose Filla is about the best it goes on easy and hardens really fast and is easy to rub down as well leaving a great finish.

Fills holes. Easy to use.

Missing the waxed paper disc which is normally included to help stop the filler drying out! And tub only half full, with a slightly more liquid consistency than I normally expect! Just filled a large hole (no deeper than 10 mm) in our kitchen, let’s see if it dries?

Used this and floral stencils to add some fun texture to my ceiling and i love it! product worked great, dried fast, and was paintable! goes on and dries slightly off white so more and likely does require painting even on white walls.

It’s a good filler. A bit overpriced.
