I have tile countertops (I hate them, but we rent our home) and my mixer is so difficult to move around on them. I have physical disabilities including muscle weakness, so I'd have to get someone else to help me anytime I needed the mixer or to put it back in its space. I love that this mat is double sided...I can use the smooth side to move the entire mixer on the tiles then flip it over to keep the mixer still (if I can get someone to help me move the mixer!). I feel a bit more independent with this mat...and that's so important to me. I fully recommend this mat if you move your mixer around a lot and have problems with that.

Wow! I wish I had this item a long time ago. It makes moving my KitchenAid electric mixer a breeze. It is slick and the mixer slides across the counter with minimum exertion. Love it!

Make sure to put the "rough side" up and the smooth side on the counter. I know that's a "duh," but I did it wrong the first time. I wish it were a little bigger, but it does what it's supposed to do. It really is easy to just slide the mixer away from the wall so I can use it and then slide it back.

My upper cabinets are quite low, almost touching the top of my 7 Quart Bowl-Lift KitchenAid. I was thrilled to find this. It washes easily in a washing machine or in the sink.

You have a mixer you need one of these. Have a 600 pro, wish I had this all along. Makes moving 29lbs a whole lot easier. Work smarter not harder, slide it, not lift/drag on counter.

Does exactly what it says. The kitchen aid mixer sits perfectly on this and glides with no effort. No breaking your back anymore to pull it across the surface to use. Only dropped 1 star as there was no cable tie device with it.
