Sistema KLIP IT Cereal Container, Large 4.2L, Clear with Blue Clips, Airtight Storage with Lid, Plastic, BPA Free, Dishwasher, Microwave and Freezer Safe

I've previously bought other KLIP IT products and have always been impressed. We've tried several other brands, often cheaper and always been disappointed. One trip through the dishwasher always ends up warping them and they no longer clip properly. These, however, are excellent. We've been using the 4.2L cereal container to old cereals for the kids. Not only do they create less mess than using the boxes, but they also allow you to hold quite a bit. When you are running low you normally end up with 2 boxes in the cupboards - but with these you can just refill it as they hold a bit more than a typical cereal box. Pros: Good capacity You can easily see how much is left, so you can plan shopping lists more easily Its easier to control the dispensing, so you don't have a sudden overflow of cereal in your bowl You can change brands without upsetting the kids Saves space in your cupboards Cons: They aren't cheap (but in my opinion completely worth it)

I bought one of these to try out, and was so impressed, I immediately purchased another two! This size (4.2l) easily holds a couple of bags of muesli or two boxes of All-Bran. Although others have said that the small pouring cover doesn't fit well, I haven't found this to be the case - quite the opposite, in fact. Both the small and the main covers fit extremely well. As with all the Sistema products I own, I highly recommend these containers. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than some brands but for the durability and build quality, I consider them to be well worth the extra expense.

Ideal size for cereals and you can stack smaller sizes on top of each other. Great to keep food fresh and tidy when space is at a premium. Well worth the money, I have many Sistema boxes and they last years, even after putting them in the freezer and microwave. They don't get misshaped and where the lids don't fit like cheaper brands.

I love porridge, but working odd hours means I only get my porridge hit on a weekend. This container keeps the porridge fresh and safe at home, but when pouring the oats out I find I get some spillage on the worktop when pouring into my measuring cup. Minor niggles, but worth noting. Secure lid and sturdy construction means a good buy overall

We've got one of those big 20L storage bins for dry dog food, but it's a bit impractical to keep traipsing to and from the garage at feeding time. So we bought this to keep a few days worth in the kitchen cupboard. It has a solid, airtight seal held in place by two clips and a smaller lid which you open on the top to pour out the contents. The container itself is shaped so that one end curves inward to make it easy to grip. It's made of sturdy plastic too and cleans easily. I'm tempted to get another couple for cereal and pasta.

Good sturdy container which is ideal for flour. I'm not sure exactly what the experience was of the reviewers who complained the lid wouldn't stay closed. Myself, I found that when my item arrived, the clip was loose that attaches the back of the lid to the little hinge on the main container. This just needed to be pressed firmly back into place, and from then on the lid fitted tightly.

I use the 4.2L container for dry cat food. It holds a 2kg bag of large-sized kibble easily (edit: but not quite a 2kg bag of puppy food, which I guess is less dense). What I particularly appreciate is the flap on top, which stays open when you're pouring so it doesn't get in the way of the kibble. The indented sides make the container easy to hold in one hand. The top is easy to remove and replace for refilling and cleaning, and stays firmly on even if the container is knocked over by a hungry cat. The whole container goes in the dishwasher (top rack) or is easy to wash by hand. This is not the cheapest container but I think it is worth the price - it makes it so easy to store and dispense cat food. If I have a complaint, it's that it is quite tall and narrow, so doesn't fit in some cupboards and can be easier to knock over when it's full - however it does mean it fits on the fridge door if you're using it for milk/juice etc.

Very fast shipping, and very impressed with the quality. For the overall product i am quite pleased, however like mentioned in other reviews the pouring flap isn’t technically airtight so i’m guessing things like cereal would likely go stale within a few days/a week, although it’s still quite sturdy. As seen in the photos I am using this to hold my cat food, currently about 1.7kg of biscuits with plenty of room for more - the size is also the same as mentioned in the description. Hope this review helps other customers :)

Nachdem wir immer wieder pappige und zusammengeklebte Cornfalkes in den Schachteln hatte, haben wir uns für diese Behälter entschieden. Seitdem sind diese immer frisch und knackig!

J'ai acheté cette boîte pour conserver les croquettes de mon chat parce que j'achète des sacs de 10 kilos très peu maniables au quotidien et elle est très pratique. La contenance est idéale, elle est grande mais pas au point d'être trop lourde une fois remplie, l'encoche est très utile pour l'avoir bien en main quand on verse et la petite ouverture sur le dessus fait bien son office dans ce cas tandis qu'on peut l'ouvrir complètement pour la remplir. Rapport qualité prix excellent, elle fait très robuste. Rien à redire !

Also takes up less room when storing them with other Sistema Containers (versus other containers with a less boxy design that create a lot of wasted space when placed side-by-side)

Lo sportellino dosatore è una enorme comodità così come è utilissimo, vista la capienza del contenitore, l'impugnatura leggermente più stretta presente su un lato. Assolutamente consigliato.

LOVE THESE! I use these for granola and they work perfectly. I looked in our pantry and we had about 10 boxes/bags of granola, most of the duplicates. When they go on sale or I have a coupon, I stock up. I found that one of these holds about 3-4 regular boxes/bags of granola. I'm talking the regular size boxes, not family packs or Costco-size. For cereal, I found that it holds almost one of the big family-size boxes. The seal works really well, and everything has stayed fresh, even the containers we don't eat out of that often. The spout size is perfect for cereal, perhaps a little big for granola. I measure my granola as I'm pouring it into my bowl and I just have to make sure I have the bowl underneath since it is a larger pouring area. My daughter pours hers straight into the bowl, so she doesn't have any issues. My pantry looks so organized now. I even printed labels to show which granola is which since some of them look the same. Great product!
